I personally prefer this due to the fact it completes the overall Soldier look. See, this is he problem... I don't LIKE the Modern Soldier look. (Not to knock people who do- I've seen some very impressive mods with that theme!) The mesh in the NV-Powered mod was PERFECT! Very fallout looking, with a solid, non-shiny texture. It fit into my very-lightly modded game perfectly. It was also balanced in that you couldn't just keep them on at all times. Well the texture isn't shine and it uses energy weapon ammo (energy cell, Micro Fussion, Etc) or fussion batteries to keep Alex's juiced so it does run out. As for fallout looking you got me on that one. But if that is what your looking for maybe say lore friendly. @Toftaps I think it was touched up in Gimp and also the helmet I saw on one of them new version on Nexus.
