Aeden nocks an arrow and nods towards Kyrykki and Corithalion. " We should be the last three in that room. That flaming bottle will be a good diversion and hopefully it will outline the other archers they have after it's thrown. I'll start shooting from the left and sweep right. I won't start shooting until Kyrykki throws. Sound good?"

<ooc: you aren't really supposed to have this much time to act, Kethruch just hasn't posted yet and I can't go any farther without him. So please, no more posts until he gets his next actions posted.>

"Watch for the signal" Corithalion whispers to the others.

Corithalion drops his sword and walks out slowly, arms in front of him and slightly apart. He judges where the archers are, and looks for any cover that might be around for when things go bad.

"Good sir. We are just here trying to find a person who was last reported to be around here somewhere. It's just gold to us if we find them, and I'm sure that neither of us wants to lose our heads over such a thing as a business deal. Perhaps you could aid us, and we could make it worth your while? I mean, really we are reasonable people."

On the word "people", he shoots a greater fireball at the center of the archers and jumps for what ever cover he can find, casting invisibility on himself as he does so under the cover of the blast. He knows the invisibility won't last long, and hopes to just get out of main line sight of the archers. He hopes that whatever they are using to light their arrows will ignite, and cause them enough problems to let the others get in close.

To Corithalion:

Your attempt at "negotiation" doesn't work as well as you had hoped. Despite their insistance on you dropping your weapons, your enemies have clearly not done the same. You exit to find yourself standing in front of five soldiers, all wearing full plate armor and carrying various nasty looking weapons. The apparent leader lunges for you as you start to cast your spells, and his mace slams into your ribs, throwing you to the floor. Buy you manage to maintain you concentration, and as you hit the ground, you feel your invisibility spell take effect. The five soldiers seem to pay little attention to you as they charge past and through the door to the rest of your party.

To Aeden:

As Corithalion's fireball hits, you duck out and release your arrow. Between the damage of the fireball and your arrow, one of the archers falls dead, and another appears to be wounded badly. Their return fire, apparently blinded by the fire, misses badly.

To Avelyn:

You throw the bottle, and it breaks, splashing fire around the archers. But compared to Corithalion's fireball, the damage looks far less impressive. But now a few more things are burning.

<ooc: alcohol isn't exactly the best weapon>

To Kyrykki:

You pick up a few arrows, but whatever magic produced their fireballs seems to be gone. At least you see no sign that these arrows are any different from average unenchanted ones.

To All:

The five soldiers charge through the door, and form a half circle as they advance towards you, weapons held ready.
