NukaColaPrime
I browsed the nexus looking for a house roughly in the northern wilderness of skyrim, but couldn't find anything like what I'm looking for, I just want a small very utilitarian house in an ice cave, preferably out in the ice fields. Only the most basic of equipment, a bed, a fire, tanning rack, no forge or smeltery. maybe a maniquin, and a couple chests, really basic. It's for a survial themed character. NukaColaPrime
Still on the lookout. I want something very basic but roomier than a small crack in the wall.
sLoPpYdOtBiGhOlE
I used "The Chill" cave as a base, it's not marked on the map, it's North of the College of Winterhold.I just befriend the 3 Frost Atronachs that spawn when you exit and they keep guard on the place for me. I use iWant (no longer around) to remove the cages, add a double bed for me and my follower and other furniture/crafting stations. You could use Jaxonz Posistioner to do the same thing. I also add a player camp map marker using iWant for quick travel. You could use My Home Is your Home instead to set a follower home there, this way you can quick travel there. Small, cozy and out of the way ice cave that's fun to decorate while in the game playing :)
NukaColaPrime
Isn't that the Prison for Winterhold?
NukaColaPrime
Still on the look out. Something very basic, though custom containers would be lovely, for instance a log pile that can be used to store wood, bone pile for Hunterborn bones. An anvil and Tanning rack for crafting. TheNexusLurker
This would probably be fairly easy to learn to do your self, if all else fails. The only part I haven't seen in a video yet is how to do a cave entrance.
Laereal
Yngvild does not respawn, so you can probably hide out over there after you clear it out. You console command spawn a bed, a tanning rack, a cooking spit/pot, a campfire and a mannequin, pick up a chest or two around the cave and set it down where you want it with Jaxonz Positioner. You can also pick up Frostfall or Campfire for the functionalities of the first three inside the cave, spawn and pick up what you need around the cave. I checked out the hideout that was mentioned up there and it seems to me that it has some of the stuff you need in there, so you can spawn all the other stuff you need in there too. I'm curious to know what you think of Igloo. It's not really lore friendly but it's close to what you want, and you can build on it in the way I mentioned in the last paragraph. Unless some really has some free time on their hands, I doubt someone is going to make you a glacier home specific to your taste. Your best bet is to try to be resourceful make it yourself either through the game or in Creation Kit.
