mr3cman
My one problem with almost all race mods is that they never have more of the race or an explanation as to why you are the only one, I have seen a race mod that you actually do meet another of that race, you have to meet this character at level 20 or something like that. Why don't other race mods have anything of that form. If this message gets to anyone I'd consider it a success. thank you to anyone who reads this Edited May 4, 2015 by mr3cman
NorthHare
Maybe the authors of those race mods enjoy making player races, but don't enjoy making NPCs and/or quests?
mr3cman
I understand that but it just doesn't make a large amount of sense to be the only one of your kind in an entire country. Edited May 4, 2015 by mr3cman
NorthHare
Make up your own backstory as to why you're the only [whatever] in Skyrim and just presume everyone else is too polite to mention it.
Oubliette
A lot of people like race mods because they want to make their character even more unique, not because they want additional NPC's. There are other mods for that purpose.

There are other mods for that purpose.the problem with what you're saying here is that so many races I've seen are humans. even the one I mentioned before, the one with the single npc. they're all to human. Boombro
Because it harder.
mr3cman
Because it harder.harder than actualy making a race. or just harder in general, or making a beast race ^not true ^understandable^ Edited May 5, 2015 by mr3cman
lofgren
Because they are new race mods not NPC mods. This is like asking why armor mods don't include quests. That's not the purpose of the mod. Generally when it comes to custom races it makes far more sense for there to be none of them in Skyrim rather than more than one. So if you're looking to maximize sense don't download custom race mods at all. Problem solved.
