LE Hybrid Races

So I think it would be interesting to create Hybrid races, after all Skyrim, and all of Tamriel is filled with all the races travelling from place to place. Although I'm not sure what races, if any, would be capable of having half-blood children lore-wise.

Bretons are technically half-Nord, half-High Elf I believe, so in a sense there's already one hybrid already.

The kid race is all up to the mother:

If a female bosmer banged a nord the kid is a bosmer.

The bretons are the fruit of very long cross breeding.

Mer and man can have sex with beast races, no idea about offspring however.

There are some half-breed race mods out there already - one for human/khajiit and one for human/argonian, at least. Don't know of any that actually adds them to the world as NPCs, though.

"The Real Barenzia" at least heavily implies a khajiit can get a dunmer pregnant, I believe. Also, it specifically points out that elves have a much easier time getting pregnant with non-elves than with their own kind.

 

Honestly, I always struck me as a bit weird that they have all these races marrying each other at random yet there are no hybrids anywhere. There doesn't even seem to be any mixes of, say, Altmer and Dunmer, even though that would make sense.

 

...Goodness, I'm not even sure I've ever seen an interracial human couple who has kids. :ohmy:

Are you sure it was not the first nightingale? I mean you can meet their kid in the TG guild questline.

Hybrids are not a thing in TES, not in a short term anyways. The child is always the race of the mother.

Think humans, females are more common because female heremons are easily carried over ( as far as I know. I'm not a doc.)

Actually, I was referring to the part a few paragraphs after the "censored" scene. Basically, Barenziah's friend Katisha warns her not to sleep around too much with humans and khajiit since she's about to reach her age of fertility.

Probably, or as it has been mentioned before , the female would dictate the species of the child. Nonetheless I think it would be interesting to add mixed breeds, perhaps add a storyline of some deranged mage/alchemist doing experiments. Specially interested in a khajiit/argonian mix. Any one up for making a mod like this?
