ThetaOrionis01
'Sarcasm' and 'insincere flattery' options when trying to persuade people :D Dragons would be nice, as would be some more non-agressive wildlife - sea creatures, birds, etc And of course an entirely new function NPC->GetALife!!!! I'd also like to see a few improvements to the editor....like a less time-consuming way to test plugins than having to load them into the game
Switch
Rynos' post deleted... near to a one liner, and didn't really have anything to do with the thread. :P
Pack Rat
* more realism ( people go to bed, shops close, there is an actual circle of life, people die, children are born, everything that would give you the feeling that you run around in an ancient world with characters with a much better AI <_< ) * combat animations * ridable beasts ( wolves, dragons whatever ) * a somekind of japanese race with nice city's and all * more flora * more "bad" guys and making sure you cant whipe out an entire faction... ( refering to the dark brotherhood in Tribunal ) * more races and so ( children included and elder ) * ability to be a god * ability to make your own home after your own desires * and so on... Just everything that would make the game look like the real life, and off course this time with a huge AI <_<
diakonos
Actually, multiplayer would be an excellent idea. Not necessarily massive online, but the option would be excellent. The gameplay pretty much supports it already, especially class specialization. I envision it has the ability to set up a game with a few friends with specific goals in mind, and then save the progress so you can pick it up later. This would be especially great for LAN parties and honestly, IMHO it's the greatest drawback of an otherwise flawed but excellent game. In regards to Everquest, I don't think it would be that similar--the most significant difference being the combat system, then of course the overall feel of the game. Of course, with multiplayer I would want better character models.
Blackmage
Where to start... First and foremost in my mind.... Area specific damage. An arrow in an unarmored forehead should kill someone. Tradeskills (see my other topic) Cliff Racers. Get rid of them. Slaughterfish, lessen the population, but don't get rid of them. In the same respect, put in other little NPC neutral things: birds, deer, and stuff like that. NPC schedules Better support for pure caster classes. Better combat system. Either put in an Auto-Attack, or a combo system (2nd preferred) That's all I can think of right now... too many people bombarding me on AIM. almusik
A fix to the targeted spells, now if they hit a static they do nothing. Take the Light spell (light X point on target for X seconds), if you cast it on a creature or an NPC it goes fine; however you can't, say, cast it on the floor to light a room because the floor (the whole room, actually) is a 'static' object, meaning you can't interact with it. This is wrong, in my opinion. Also, if a creature is aggressive it IS aggressive. I may understand the daedras not attacking NPCs on sight as they usually are worshippers (unless they are witchunters or ordinators). On the other hands animals should attack EVERYONE on sight; me, NPCs and other animals as well. Maybe this goes under the better AI issue. Dradum_Fairoak
Yes I agree, it's really annoying watching Rats and Scribs living in harmony. I just want the rat to start something, then the scrib to beat the living tar out of it. Also, yes, some more non-agressive creatures, but go further than that. Have creatures that run away. Rabbits etc. It's easy to kill stuff that stays where it is when you approach, like horses, cows, but having some deer or rabbits would make the game way more fun. And with rideable horses etc, you could race against the deer :)
diakonos
More mounts in general would be excellent.....
Xionith
I would LOVE it if your walk speed was just a LITTLE bit faster, it is wicked annoying when I cant take a silt strider and I dont have any magic or anything to transport me and i have to run the whole way like 2 miles an hour!
Pob
The ability to become a GOD!! Ahem Think you get this one already? The Neveraine is a god isn't he/she. Would love a multiplayer option and yeah trade skills and mounts would be great. Alot of the other stuff (new faces, animals that are non threathing etc) are avaible through mods, so are out there already (or could be doable on the editor) Less bugs/CTD's etc Better PC to run it on The use of the MW engine/interface for other types of game (bit like the middle earth mod) say a sci fi version More graded spells eg: basic fireball, intermediate fireball, huge fireball, world destroying fireball. they are a pain to keep track of otherwise NPC's that don't stand outside all night!
