Robbenklopper
Hi everyone, since I can't download the textures from the provided link, could somebody plz provide me (and I guess most other Windows-users) with a step-by-step guide on how to unpack the textures. I'm trying for days to get Lua / Zlib /lua-zlib running, without any success. Already installed several linux-distributions but I can't wrap my mind around the whole installation procedure. CaptainCockerel
Any update? I would think until RedKit is released or the developers butt in and help, it's dead until then (or at least until some dodgy hack method). It's not super easy like Elder Scrolls. LucrassKelvac
:( I wish I understood all this. I just want to modify the Starting armor's textures just a bit to recolor some things a bit...
thibaudv
I wish CDPR would give us at least something; right now most witcher enthusiast have completed the game once or twice and are just itching to get into modding the game... The expansions are far off anyway :)

Ladyofpayne
@Monty - That's what I've noticed as well...it almost feels as if they do not want us messing around inside these files...of course, that's part of the fun of it all. :-) Thanks.Take care,Please can you add textures from DLC for Triss and Yennefer? Fuse00
Is this thread still alive?... Seems like I understood how to import modified textures in game using that tutorial: http://forums.cdprojektred.com/threads/54503-TUTORIAL-How-to-modify-textures-%28gwent-cards%29?p=1872553#post1872553 BUT there is a huge problem which I have no ideas how to solve:The modified texture is shown in game only when the character is very close to camera. When the camera is going away from the character, the modified texture starting to replace with vanilla one.My suggestion, that is how LOD works in this game: when the camera is going away from the model, the texture is replacing with low-res one or something like that,But I didn't find any other (low-res) textures in texture.cache.... How it works - I made a retexture of Geralt face in order to make him look younger (removed his wrinkles, his stubble etc.)I imported this new textures in game. When the camera is close to Geralt's face, it works ok: http://s020.radikal.ru/i703/1508/9d/f3e08a0a05ef.png http://s009.radikal.ru/i308/1508/ce/f5054d0f78f2.png But, when the camera is far from Geralt, his face become vanilla: http://s47.radikal.ru/i117/1508/38/09ad578c0d2e.png Any ideas?... Where I can find those "distant" textures or smth?... I tryed to edit Vesemir also, with the same result... The texture works only on close distance... update: I am pretty sure that mip textures are stored in streaming.cache archive. But, I don't know how to unpack it.Seems like like I stucked again... MatveyevD
Guys, as long as uncooking is broken since the last patch, could anyone share the parchment textures from the lower part of the gwent cards? And the golden line texture above the parchment?
