OBSE keeps crashing game

So, I've been using OBSE without event for some time, and then out of the blue, it keeps crashing my game. I'm not sure why, but after entering/exiting a few areas, the game will always freeze up and shut down, and, if not that, sometimes when I open or close my inventory the game freezes up... =/ I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong, but any help is appreciated.

What brings you to the conclusion that OBSE is causing this?

I tried loading up the game without it, and it seemed to work just fine. :/

But that doesn't mean that it's OBSE causing it. It's more likely to be an OBSE mod, one that doesn't work without OBSE..

I've tried disabling a few of them; if not all. It still crashed after, though, I'll double check.

Well, I tried disabling every single mod besides vanilla oblivion, and it still didn't work. ._.' I guess it might not be OBSe after all, but now I'm clueless. .__.'

Try starting a new game with your mods disabled (not a loaded save game) and play through to the sewer exit. If you can do that then the issue is likely with your saved game.

Even so, chances of being OBSE itself the cause is remote. What happen with old save games failing to load may be caused by a simple load order change or having something sensible from mods that are not there anymore.

To try to recover that save game (supposing deemed worthy the troubles) is enabling again all the mods used when it was done. There is a good chance just reinstalling everything again in the correct order being enough to eliminate the issue. If it persist and indeed just happen when OBSE is active, try uninstalling the suspect mods, one by one and verifying.

But, above all, NEVER save a game using mods depending on OBSE without it being active, if for any reason you don't want OBSE you need to remove first all mods that uses functions from it.
