Dragon32
As a couple of people have already said this is going to make it trickier for those of us who offer help to others to actually find those people needing help. I used to browse the Uploaded Files subforum for Morrowind regularly. It seems that with the change the only people who will really have visibility of those "Halp!" comments are the people who uploaded the file. I assume that reproducing the Uploaded Files subforums (subfora?) is not feasible or possible. As a suggestion what about displaying an auto-generated notice on a file's Comments page? Condition for displaying the notice would if the uploader has not logged onto Nexus for, say, six months. Auto-generated notice would be something like:The uploader of this file, <account_name>, has not logged onto Nexus mods for six months or more. If you are seeking help or advice on using this file then please start a thread in either the <Game> Mod Talk or <Game> Mod Troubleshooting subforum. With that kind of message people would have a chance at getting help from those of us willing to provide it. I wouldn't say that the hypothetical job which generates such a message is in anyway time critical. One could divide up mods by the last digit of their mod IDday 1 = Files with last digit 1 processedday 2 = Files with last digit 2 processed...day 10 = Files with last digit 0 processed Well, that's getting into implementation and I'm sure you guys are a lot better at that than I am :) Thanks for speeding up the forums. Hope this idea is appreciated.

I initially load the Nexus forum with the 'My Content' page loaded and I was amazed to find it blank, save for a couple of obscure and old listings, but the actually page still showing the number of 'Topics & posts' I follow and the pages that it takes up in 'My Content'. This same blank set with remnants of totals applies to the 'posts' & 'topics' selections. At any rate I thank you for your continued attention to the condition of the Nexus and not sitting back on your laurels. With the onset of great new games in the near future let's hope Nexus continues to stand its ground.RIP "Content You Follow."I used this feature to easily keep track of which mods I followed had new posts. I had several pages of "Content I Followed" and some of them had new stuff only maybe once a week or maybe a few times a month - but they still important because it was invariably someone who had recently discovered the mod and had a few questions that I could answer easily for them.It is very inconvenient that now I have to go to each mod page to see if there are new posts instead of having a bot do it for me. (I had three pages of stuff I was following.)This seemed to blindside a lot of users. One thing I learned as a developer was that if you were going to take a feature out, you would ask around because invariably users are going to be using your product in unexpected ways. In a classic case of 20/20 hindsight, it might have been helpful to ask around before making the changes. Granted, the changes would probably still have be made, but it would've made for a smoother transition for the users instead of having to shift without a clutch. Hope this idea is appreciated.I second this idea as I sometimes see posts on modpages where the author(s) have not been around forever (or have been banned) asking for help and rarely getting it. something like this will at least get people to notice that someone needs help. badkrma
Um, sorry if this is posted in the wrong section but I was wondering if these changes have affected my bookmarks for mods that I have in firefox. My older mod shortcuts that have worked fine up until a week ago (was last visiting those pages) but now today they won't go and I get a server not found message. Yet if I google Nexusmods.com and then go from there all is fine. Does this make any sense to anyone or is it just me. So far that means alot of saved bookmarks are garbage and I got to go through each one and redo them... any thoughts.

Sergio1992
hi,with this change, I doubt I will find a reason anymore to follow the forums. The great thing about the nexus community was that I could enter the forums, go inside the section *'game's name* uploaded files' and simply read the discussion topics for every mod out there. I admit that I would not even met many mods if it wasn't for that section. Add to that it was simply a pleasure to read feedbacks, users queries, different questions related to the mod themselves. You simply removed what made the Nexus special and made it a generic forum; from now on I will just track a few mods and be done with it. Looks like it went to www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/? but my bookmark said skyrim.nexusmods.com or something similair. I didn't read trough all of this post but seeing as it worked fine a couple of days ago I would imagine this having something to do with it. shiranui980
Is this why the download pages aren't loading properly or not at all?
