Skyrim & Modding Noob Question

Steam and steam games are already installed in a clean and separate disk (Data D:) so I guess I need to just uninstall Skyrim using CCleaner then.

Yes exactly. I am currently doing the phase 5 of the guide (installing texture)

Do I still need to download the official high-res dlc? anyways, this map mod: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/4929/ doesn't seem to work.

Mate use Mod Organizer to "organize" your files,LOOT to check the order of your files and check if there are some errors and TES5Edit to clean your files. You can also use Nexus Mods Manager, but I recommend these ones because they save lives.Enjoy your modding :DD

And by the way,you dont have to download High-Res DLC pack if you don't want to,but I recommend it.It retextures all meshes/objects in the game,so I would put it on the top of the load order (except official Bethesda DLCs and Unofficial Patches),so if you have DLCs and Patches, you should put them in this order : Skyrim.esm
Update.esm
Unofficial Skyrim Patch.esp
Dawnguard.esm

Unofficial Dawnguard Patch.esp

HearthFires.esm

Unofficial Hearthfires Patch.esp

Dragonborn.esm

Unofficial Dragonborn Patch.esp

HighResTexturePack01.esp
HighResTexturePack02.esp

HighResTexturePack03.esp

Unofficial High Resolution Patch.esp then rest of your mods.I hope this made it bit easier.

And the map mod.I can't see your load order or how you put the mod in the game, but if it still doesn't work,be sure to read WHOLE DESCRIPTION when downloading the mod again cause I'm 696969% sure that you will find something that you've missed :DDD xD

What ENB's out there that is more compatible with overhaul mods, etc. etc.

they are mostly all compatible with overhaul go to nexusmod and search mod by categories, select ENB PRESET and then look for the most download and you'll find something I currently use this enb below with climate of tamriel and weather patch and other "overhaul"

I think you have more powerful specs than I am since I'm on a Mobile GPU.
