Combat Style: Within a team, usually being a soldier and not the leader of the team. Mostly support.
Specialties: Highly experienced with the service rifle and maybe other rifles. The service rifle being the rifle he had trained with.
Weaknesses: Alcohol.
Likes: Cleansing the wasteland of abominations. Human and mutant.
Dislikes: Death, of any of his teammates.
Wants: His highly worked after Captain promotion.
Fears: Ghoulified NCR troopers and spores.
Friendly Factions: The NCR.
Enemy Factions: The Legion and the Fiends/any type of raiders.
Companions: His squad-mates. Whoever he is assigned to.
Love interest?: Maybe a thing for the field medic, Sera Kana. He gets hurt in battle to spark up a conversation with her. Who said romance was dead?
Parents: Christian Combie and Elisa Combie. Father, currently working for the NCR in another regiment. Mother caring for his recently born brother at his home.
Why is your character fighting for the NCR?: His father fights for them, it's good pay and a great experience. His father giving a good word in aswell for his son to hopefully rise through the ranks.

Parents: His father was born out east the Colorado, but raised in California. His grandparents fled their tribe shortly before Caesar's Legion arrived, and went west until reaching California, where they raised Six's father, Carson. Carson was intelligent, and eventually used his knowledge of science, medicine, and history to help and educate others by joining the Followers of the Apocalypse. His mother, Maya, was the daughter of a brahmin rancher who ran away at a young age and met Carson. The two moved further east, and ended up in New Reno where Carson would tell Six of his grandparents' days as tribals out east, and of a great army of slaves known as the Legion. His mother joined the army when NCR entered the Mojave, and became an officer in charge of her own company. As she spent more and more time away from home, Carson grew more and more depressed as it seemed like his wife chose her career over her family, and eventually became addicted to chems and alcohol. After getting kicked out of the Followers, he overdosed on Jet and died in his home shortly after his son ran away from home.

 

Early Life: Grew up hearing stories about the tirbes and the Legion to the East, giving him an innate hatred of Caesar. His mother joined the army and participated in the Pacification of the Mojave, under the command of then-General Aaron Kimball. She would go longer and longer periods without returning home, which deeply affected both Six and his father until she stopped visiting altogether. After several years of putting up with his father's addictions, Six ran away from home in 2273.

 

Teen Years: After running away at 15, Six drifted throughout the NCR and its frontier territories looking for work. He worked as a ranch hand on on of Heck Gunderson's ranches for 2 years, then worked as a caravan guard for caravans going into and out of the Mojave Outpost. Returning to New Reno after a caravan he was guardingalong the Long 15 was sacked by Caesar's Legion, he discovered his father's fate from an old friend in the Followers. Distraught, he began to drink, and a week later in a drunken rage shot and killed one of the Made Men of the Bishop Family outside of a casino. Realizing that if he stayed in New Reno that he wouldn't be long for this world, Six skipped town as fast as he could and headed for the frontier in an attempt to escape Mr. Bishop's wrath. Eventually, he found himself in the Mojave Wasteland, hoping to blend in with the crowds of travelers and gamblers in New Vegas until he was forgotten by the powerful crime boss.

 

How he became a Courier: Having spent the last of his caps to get to the Mojave, he signed on with the Mojave Express under a false name to raise more money to finish the trek to New Vegas. After walking several routes, he decided to stay a Courier because he was beginning to know the roads, and saw no sign of retribution in sight. Feeling as if luck was on his side, he accepted a job to deliver a strange Chip to Vegas, under the assumption that this extraordinary job was anything but...

Ive seen some people add more than character so I might as well give it another shot. Gonna keep this one brief :D

Name: Marietta Anderson (Unit C-258 "Bás Dubh")

-Gender: Female
-Age: 229
-Race: Caucasian
-Combat Style: Whatever's necessary
-Specialties: Maxed SPECIAL
-Weaknesses: Her aggressive behavior leaves her with little friends.
-Likes: Slaving, abuse of power, Deathclaws, the color red, a gun heavy big enough to push a truck with recoil, making human-confetti.
-Dislikes: Excessive light, geckos, bargainers.
-Wants: To rule over the wasteland's "mutie scum" with an iron fist.
-Fears: Death, pain, losing.
-Friendly Factions: (Diminishing at an alarming rate) The only factions that don't want her head on a pike are the Powder Gangers (Their ravaging and "we make our own rules" attitude remind her of herself, so she sympathizes with them), Caesar's Legion (Though not supportive of their disregard towards tech, she adore's their slaving nature,) and the Enclave, Great Khans (Chems and brutality, great way to weaken the masses.)
-Enemy Factions: NCR (Is amused from provoking their power-complex), BoS (Loves terrorizing whatever chapter she can find, constantly prodding the frightened turtle trying to hide in the safety of it's shell,) Followers of the Apocalypse (weak pacifist, "dog food" in her eyes,) Boomers (Same issue as BoS, destroying whatever sense of safety closed societies try to employ is like a hobby to her.)
-Companions: Slaves (has collared various unfortunate wastelanders, enjoys the company of slavers.)
Love interest?: Possibly Caesar.
Parents: Carla and John Anderson, files concerning them have been expunged.
-Early life: Marietta was born into a "Project Foirfeacht," a series of experiments that, through an exposure to special drugs, tech, and training, would attempt to create the perfect human. This project was also to be militarized in an effort to create an elite series of super-soldiers. This project was centered around the SPECIAL ratings developed by Vault-Tec and would be based around maxing (or even passing) one or more of these traits permanently, at will, without diminishing other traits. There were very few successes, some reaching above average ratings, but barely any would reaching the desired result. Of these few minor successes, only two were perfect results, one of which was Marietta. Since her first testing at the age of six, she would show extraordinary proficiency, adapting to the changes faster than than any other unit before her.
-Teen years: Starting at 14, the units would undergo combat training. At this stage their main SPECIAL trait would be about 7-8, with the others lagging behind at about 5 or 6. Marietta's were all straight 8s at this age. When faced against other 7-8 Strength/Endurance subjects, her advantage in Agility, Perception, Endurance, and Intelligence would leave her opponents decimated. This would cause the other units to isolate Marietta, and even downright antagonize her. The growing negativity would only be met in kind, though, as she would then fight with an increased brutality, leaving her opponents completely defenseless. This continued for three years, until, in a sparring match, four power-armored guards armed with Compliance Regulators had to forcibly stop her from killing a unit which was notorious for pranking her. The unit was left in a near-death state, and was later deemed unable to continue training and experimentation. Afraid that she would diminish resources by killing other units, her further growth was set in isolation, her only interaction being with service droids, cameras, and speakers. This state of isolation persisted for five more years, eating away at her psyche. News of war is made apparent, causing the program's funding to be pulled, and eventually put on hiatus. The subjects are placed in cryostasis and stored in various locations spanning the country to await the project's revival.
-How did he/she become a courier?: Hearing news of growing groups that nearly idolize the brutality of eugenics and social Darwinism, she decided to take up a job as a courier to familiarize herself with the area, and possibly find weaknesses in both the NCR and the Legion which she would be able to exploit in her advantage.

A Female character I often make in games like this.

 

Name: Angel (first thing in her mind when Doc Mitchell asked for her name) ^^
Gender: Female
Age: mid twenties

Size: About 163 cm (or 5'1?) (90% of a normal PC, I assumed the PC to be about 180cm normally)
Race: Caucasian

Hair colour: Bright pink. Its her "natural" hair colour, that fallout radiation can cause some funky mutations. XD

Karma: Neutral, will rob you blind if you have something she wants but generally likes to help.
Combat Style: Long range sniping and sneaky close range killing of key targets.
Specialities: Extreme long range sneak attack critical's and repairing.
Weaknesses: Being attacked from behind and being indecisive.
Likes: Bloatfly sliders, Gecko steaks, light armour and the Ratslayer rifle
Dislikes: Cazadors (The only good Cazador, is a dead Cazador), Legion troopers (They keep insulting her) and anything/one attacking her for no reason (e.g. Fiends and feral ghouls)
Wants: Unique weapons and armours (she likes to collect them)
Fears: Cazadors, Deathclaws and anything too strong for her. (As she levels up and gets stronger, her fears disappear)
Friendly Factions: She has a large need to stay/be at least neutral towards all factions.
Enemy Factions: As the story continues she WILL become enemies with the Legion. Otherwise see dislikes.

Ready for a super long one?

 

Name: John Hatchet
Gender: Male
Age: Late 20's, probably around 27.
Race: Caucasian.
Combat Style: Long Range, the longer away, the least amount of casualties. The more impossible the shot, the faster the enemy gives up.
Specialties: Long Range combat. Ability to claw his way out of a bad situation with just about anything with a sharp edge. Clear thinking, even while under enemy fire. Good with Plasma Weapons at closer range. Can sing well.
Weaknesses: Severe memory loss, perhaps developing from when he was shot. Schizophrenia, almost certainly predating his "death". Not very sturdy, will crumple under enemy fire. Bad aim while on the move. Too trusting of others. Terrified of Mutants.
Likes: Pre-War food or home made meals that don't include squirrels. The feeling of a perfect shot. Ending a conflict without bloodshed, or a minimal amount. The song "Big Iron". Mr. New Vegas. The sights of Vegas. Being at home in Goodsprings.

Early life: Blurry due to his memory loss. He faintly remembers it being traumatic. Sometimes, he wakes up screaming but can't remember what it was about, just remembering some one dying and a traumatic event. Boone thinks he might have been at Bitter Springs and saw it happen, but no one knows for sure.

Early life: Grew up with the caravan his father guarded, learned to shoot from him and the other guards while his mother taught him what she had learned from the followers
Teen years: Still accompanied his family though he had wishes to leave and did so at 19
How did he become a courier?: Inherited his father's need for travelling, considered becoming a caravan as well but found that he didn't like being around merchants, became a courier after that as he thought it would suit him the most
