TheSwedishPancake
I've actually not heard of this game or the books, but from what I'm hearing in this thread, it sounds like a pretty fun game. I will have to look into the game more and see if I'll be willing to buy it when it gets released. Thanks for bringing it to my attention.
mondotomhead
I, too, am very excited about this game. I played the first one for months. I never noticed the things Brokenergy said about it. And I loved the music. The game gave you a disc of just the music. I play it ocassionaly and it brings me right back to those happy months of playing that game. Also, it was the first game I played that had blood spouting all over the place. I really liked that  Like someone else said, you can't get enough Geralt! You could probably pick up the enhanced edition of the original game quite cheaply now.
mondotomhead
I think if someone played TW now after DAO, ME1 and 2 and the like, they might find it a tad bit "oldstyle". I replayed it recently and I can see now that it isn't as flashy and smooth as the games are now. Don't get me wrong, I absolutely LOVED the game back then but I was playing Dungeon Siege before that. Games have come along way in such a short time. TW2 has been releasing a lot of actual game play that looks fantastic. If you Google, The Witcher 10 minute demo, you can watch for 10 minutes(!) the main character Geralt walking around. This will give you an idea of the cinematics. After the disaster of DA2 (my opinion) I'm glad there is something to look forward to.

Nothings wrong with it, Jim and I both rate it highly, and as for the Village People, sorry I mean Power Rangers inference, they were a hoot. Ooh, shiney.
