I installed this yesterday and loved it in the 4 or so hours I've played with it - Ambient Wasteland: adds more background noises when you're wandering the wastes. Really helped with the ol' immersion, inmho.

I mighta missed it, but I didn't see Fellout or any other mod in your list to make it darker or night (maybe wanderers edition does that?).... anyways of course there's the Darker Nights (I thought Fellout was TOO dark, this one I find just about perfect). Really works nicely with the Ambient Wasteland.

and maybe some nightvision for those darker nights (Mr Slackpants Night Vision)

http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=3368

and maybe some monster horror chiller radio theatre to listen to while sittin' under the moon (Radio KBAT):

Cheers

Very cool, adding it now. Probably should have put this in Mod talk not fallout discussion :wallbash:

I'm glad you like it, it was my first mod. Toxa01, Abesh and BrotherShogo deserve most of the credit, though, I just bashed it together from the various sources..

I notice you don't have Sydney Follower: http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=9320

I highly recommend it. Far superior to Brianna, Lucy, Jessi or what have you in terms of voiced dialogue/interaction/subquests/utility/etc.

You could also try Charon Improved: http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=12221

... which has some scripted interaction with the above NPC making for a more immersive, uh, experience.

I also always use the following (disregard if you already have them):

Zooming Scoped Weaponry: http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=5351

Allows you to zoom in/out while aiming a sniper rifle. Invaluable.

Auto-Aim Fix: http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=5606

This fascilitates sniping to a greater degree as normally your bullets home in on the nearest enemy torso. Which is bad if you're aiming at a head peeking over a wall - you'll always miss.

Sprint Mod: http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=1854

Lets you sprint by using up AP.

You should also have a look at Project Beauty HD: http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=6341

.... which improves the facial designs of the various NPCs as well as adding hairstyles and such to the character creation screen. It doesn't make them prettier, it just improves them; take a look at his Raiders for example.

If your in to weapons I'd suggest http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=5059 Through a few guns are a bit over powered but still a great mod, for melee I'd suggest http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=6558 a lot of nice swords in it.

http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=867 Makes companions and traders essential so they can only be knocked out and not killed.

http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=1410 Gives you command of enclave force's, this ones a real favorite go's really well with the next one to.

http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=10346 Zombie apocalypse great fun for when you just want to slaughter things or test your survivable to the limit but I'd recommend not saving as they kill everything.

http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=1730 It is a cheat but 999 weight limits really handy for dragging your loot from a raider massacre back one fast trip rather then two, three, or even four with the risk of losing loot.

Have you tried any quest mods yet?

if not, these are (in my opinion) some of the best quest mods out there:

A Quest for Heaven will keep you occupied for quite a few hours :)

Ep1: http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=10208

Ep2: http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=12887

Ep3: http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=15488

A Note easily missed is also definitely worth a try:

http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=4730

Mothership Zeta crew is not exactly a quest mod but will keep you occupied for quite a while as well (not very lore-friendly though):

http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=8747

Also, depending on how much you like or liked bittercup, you might want to try making her a companion and give her a more "gothlike" appearance (she does try to act like a goth after all)

There's a lot that change her appearance but I personally liked this one most:

also try xCALIBR Universe BoE, it overlaps FWE, but not conflicting: adds a new gun trader and weapons, and weapons that can cycle thru different accuracy stats like burst mode / full auto / semi auto; half the assault rifles only go burst and full, but the ones that go semi also turn into effective sniper rifles, if only could see that far :) so agree with apoasha's suggestion for zooming scoped weapons, and apoasha thanks for linking the auto-aim fix, am going to try that

with the suggestions from zombierelic, the zombie apocalypse is a full on change to the environment, and think it needs to be tweaked to you liking in the console, i only tried it on the standard defaults for an hour or so,and was like nothing else existed, pretty confusing but assumed it could tone down.

If you wanto see these zombies in action before trying it, HiVE advanced compound adds a small quest-ish start where you wade thru a few hundred of them. Mixed feeling about HiVE, the compount itself has wierd lighting, so not perfect as a home base, but theres enough devices added to make it easily a top 10 player home mod, best being the portable all in one device, and personal vertibird which is more of a portable player home than anything

If you have Enclave Commander: http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=1410

..... you get a summonable Vertibird where you can sleep and store stuff. You can also use it to fast travel out of areas that you normally wouldn't be able to (Paradise Falls).

There's also the endless fun you can have summoning a aquad of enclave soldiers and ordering them to take the entire population of a town prisoner, then executing everyone.

That and calling down an Orbital strike on a Gargantuan.
