AWOP (full of "poo poo"?)

Yeah screw what these people are babbling about; ur mod is awesome. I genuinely look forward to finding new areas to go through.

 

 

I definitely concur that something that would make this mod amazing would be like a mini quest dealing with assassinations, or taking on a faction with a crew ( I modded my Enclave Commander like crazy and would do runs from time to time.) I would say maybe some more unique areas; like setting up an underground passage which leads to an underground road tunnel, filled with cars ( awesome explosions) and fiends or something. Or a close corridor area with loads of fire geckos to make a sense of urgency. Or things like ghouls in the sewers but theres absolutely no lights cept your pipboy/readius (unless you have thermal vision which would still be interesting)Scripted events like someppl said, like slaves running out of an area and they tell you about a hostage situation underneath and you gotta get them out. maybe use some companion mod to make them follow you and crap. I think that there is a lotta crap in your mod.

 

Its a good thing. I believe if you that a little polishing can go a huge way with this mod. Not all places have to have some crazy quest attached to them ( unless you want to do that in time) you just need to add a little extra. you could even have things like at some random area in the mountains theres some rogue sniper. Give him a ton of range or whatever and make a spawn point of crazy creatures near by him. So its like you walk by and a deathclaw or whatever is getting one shotted. and the pc has to take cover, cuz he'll take you down as well. I mean its just one npc and 3 stupid creatures. Yet in that fashion it could make it some much more. Im sure you have tons of awesome ideas and the community always has quite the imagination. I mean its cool that i know everytime i see some random interior, its probably going to be populated so i can own stuff. But if you just add a little X factor to the table, it makes me want to save immediately and run right in; cuz i know itll be an adventure.

Big thanks for the feedback.

I like the idea of an Underground Road full of cars. I'll look into that at some point.

As for assasinations I am taking over The Serail Killers mod from Reco22 who is has encountered too many problems to continue with his project. I'll set up a quest so you have to stop them before they kill evryone and try and keep quest NPCs as safe as possible.

I'll look into pitch black settings for a few areas when I go over the lights and ambience settings for each level when I have finished all the locations.

I'll probably add a few suprises to the Wasteland when I add Weapon Specialist Spawns to the wastes, and a few campsites for them to defend. I'll be sure to put a sniper or two in.

A good idea, Fallout has done this before back in Tactics, but it was more of a joke, however now it'd be an awesome challenge, you could recommend users to use the flashlite mod, and fill a tunnel in utter darkness but within have challenging enemies in the darkness like Deathclaws. (Similar to this scene from Gears of War 2)

@djmystro: On the original post, I know exactly where you're coming from (not mod related, but otherwise). Sadly I don't have any recommendations for adding content, but felt like posting yet another positive remark about this mod since I can't endorse it again ;) That and the topic at hand in the OP is just... yea o_O

 

Overall I LOVE this quest/mod/overhaul... I consider it more of an overhaul than a quest with the amount of content it brings (no new textures or meshes, I'll be sure and play the tiny violin for the haters :P ) Everything that's been suggested for the mod sounds great, and the addition of weapons from The Book of Earache has me on the edge of my seat, I've been using that in FO3 ever since its initial release and have loved it!

 

So just another fan signing off, telling you how awesome, incredible and FUN this add-on is, keep up the great work :thumbsup: :thumbsup: :thumbsup: :thumbsup:

Yo bro, I havent tested your mod cause I got my head up my own poo poo now. LMFAO.

 

Im craming stuff in into mine, but After 2 more releases then the lay of the land has been set, I got a reloading crammed into a handloader, down the road I may add the ability to carry it. What did that have to with the original concept of a Still to make hooch. Nothing, I wanted it. Period. It made sense. I dont want crap in my room, and a hand loader made sense.

 

Bottom line go with the flow of creation. If you get some negitive waves, look at it like a blessing, I've been asking for feedback on my mod, and its like pulling your hair out straind by straind. So Go with what you want is my motto. And if people dont dig it, well I do, is my approach now.

 

Good critiscm is hard to find. Been looking for it, but someone that has a I want it now attitude is gonna hate version 1.76 of my mod. Thats when I check for hardcore mode. But hey. Its all good. Im a newblet,

simplywayne90 : I checked out the Gears Of War scene - Thats not nearly scary enough :) but I like the idea. More explosions, pitch black and filled with gore & Deathclaws sounds good to me. I guess a small squad to back you up to make it a quest effort too.

Floatsup: I get youre point about all publicity being good (or feedback having a purpose).

Unfortunately (?) I just have incedebly high ambitions for my station. Number one I want to have the most popular mod ever. I figure I have done enough by this stage but I can't even beat NV Bounties on a weekly basis. Surely by now I'd have taken over - when was that last updated even? although I suppose it is a great mod so no shame there, let alone takling Proj Nevada. Little things like this bug me.

Plus I wanna be the worlds best Hardcore DJ, live to the age of 10,000 (or there abouts), tell all the Worlds leaders what to do and live on an island populated entirely by women in tiny bikinis. I'm getting there slowly..., just one ambition at a time :) (well... technically I live on an Island anyway)

Personally I'd prefer a 100% run of success and praise but I'll get by without in the meantime. In all fairness responses have been mostly awesome and I can't thank people enough for the great feedback I have had already.

I'll check out your Distillery too -may come in handy at some point.

AWOP is amazing, I haven't had the time to play through in quite some time, but been keeping an eye on how you're getting on and loving the progress :). As it stands the mod is great, I guess I ditto some more quests and such. Just something to give you a little direction when you're running through, could even just be a note pointing to some of the rewards. I look forward to seeing the new creatures and enemies too. One thing I wondered, have you thought about using the Stalker resources ported over to the nexus? Just feel the armours in particular would be perfect for the atmosphere of AWOP. Thanks!

 

Oh and if you look at the Eve-900 mod there are some fantastic creatures in that, which would also look cool, although I don't know whether the author created them or got permissions from somewhere.

I'll have a think about some notes to point to certain locations and such, maybe with map markers.

I'll check out the STALKER resources at some point. I have had permission from CrushOverwrite to use some Stalker-esque weapons (AS VAL & VSS Vintorez among others) which I am very plaesed about but some new armors wouldn't hurt either.

I just stumpled accross the Eve-900 mod. I thought it was some kind of E-DE related thing for some reason but it sounds really cool and I am very much looking forward to playing on that (33 levels of carnage and the Pulse Rifle from aliens - oh yes :) ). Once I have had a playthrough I'll contact the authour regarding resources.
