Blackmage
On the top of the page it says "Don't be put off by the ugly moderators, the admin are much nicer" It should either be the "admins" if you have more than one admin, or the admin is if you only have one admin. I don't know if anyone has pointed this out, or if the banner is even changeable. I just thought I would waste your time with my useless ramblings. ThetaOrionis01
Actually I did point this out to Dark0ne  The conversation which ensued led me to believe that Dark0ne is using the royal plural 'are' to reflect his god-like status.

Dark0ne
Well - if I were using "admin" as a short-hand for "administration" (where an administration can consist of multiple people) then the phrase would, in-fact, be correct. You wouldn't say "the adminstrations are nicer", obviously. So I think the comment still stands :) However, you would say "the administrators are nicer" - but I'm not saying that :P
Blackmage
Hm, well I've always thought of Admin as administrator... I can't shake the feeling that it's wrong, but I can see what you mean.

I agree with you man... "Admin" Is short for Administator...not Administration
Malchik
Perhaps it depends on where you live. I work in an Admin department where Admin stands for Administration. That is the generally accepted meaning in the UK. I can describe myself as an 'admin guy' but never as an 'admin'. It is probably different in the US. Unless I much mistake Dark0ne is from the UK. DaCuda
It's pretty much the same in the U.S. Adminstration buildings, or departments, or what have you are often referrd to as "admin"
Zmid
As far as I was aware, 'admin' can mean both administrator and administration. It's just the context tells you which it is.
