MotoSxorpio
Hardware in profile. I need GFX upgrade...the two 660s just aren't doing it anymore. :P I can shrink the Skyrim textures bsa in under 3 minutes with DDSOpt (vanilla to 64x64). Skyrim won't use more than 60% and averages 30%.-8 cores @ over 5Ghz...but I can't use 2K for ALL textures. :armscrossed:

obobski
My PC specs are all in my profile. And yes, I still use a Creative Sound Blaster Audigy 2 ZS sound card... Hey it still works after, what, 11-12 years? At least it is still much better than the onboard nForce sound driver on my motherboard. Boy does my machine need an upgrade... >_> I have a 2 ZS Platinum in my secondary machine - still a very competent card imho. Main system (built at Christmas-ish, so almost a year old by now):Core i5-4690S w/Thermalright HR-22ASRock Z97x motherboard2x8GB Kingston DDR3-1866XFX Radeon 290X Black EditionCreative SB ZxR2x500GB WD VelociRaptor in RAID01TB WD Green for additional storage (I will literally never fill this either)PC Power TurboCool 860W ("recycled" from previous Core 2 Quad rig since it still worked, is quiet, etc)Lian-Li PC-7 case (with 120mm intake and exhaust, and 80mm top exhaust; all SilverStone fans) Secondary system (since I mentioned it, I figured people might be curious):2x Xeon 3.06GHz w/Cooler Master sinksAsus PC-DL Deluxe2x1GB Kingston DDR-333GeForce FX 5800 Ultra (w/ Zalman VF-700) + 2x Creative Voodoo II 12MB SLICreative SB Audigy 2 ZS Platinum500GB WD GreenPC Power Silencer 610WLian-Li PC-7 case (identical to above; they're identical from the outside except for the Audigy front-bay and different brand DVD drives) I've got another few gaming machines "in pieces" at various stages of completion too, but none are currently in use. stilichos
I'm running a rig from around 2013, but at least it was quite good back then, and it still dominates most games, though I think Fallout 4 will mark the first nail in the coffin.GPU: Msi GTX 670CPU: FX 8350 (standard clock at 4.2Ghz) - I'm probably going intel next time I upgrade.RAM: 8Gb G.Skill Sniper (DDR3 1866Mhz) - So beautifulPSU: 850w Gold standard (I don't remember the brand)Motherboard: Msi GD65v2Case: Phantom 240 - Its so beautiful and stuff, I like it. Has so much spaces.CPU Cooling: Liqtech Enermax 240 - Its amazing, like man, I recommend it so much especially if you're recording, it makes your computer so quiet. Its still a great system and I run games like BF4 on ultra at 50-60fps and stuffs. Its beautiful, but I'm afraid (especially with the CPU) that I wont have much time left before it starts kicking in the dust as games drag it out behind the prospector saloon to be shot for crimes against the Mojave. DarkAllegiance
Processor: i7 - 4770K at 3.7MhzRAM: 16Gb 1333Mhz Kingston ValueRAMM.Board: Asus Z-87AHDD: 1Tb Western DigitalGraphics: Brand new Asus Strix GTX 970 (which I´m not so sure if I like of. Hot and noisy. )Power: LC power (?) 750W (I think)Cooling: Noctua NH-14 for processor, NH-12 in front of case and some no-brand on the back Otherwise I like my rig but that GTX was a smallish disappointment from the beginning as previous GTX 650 was so silent that had to check if it was still running, from time to time. Maybe I´ll upgrade case at some point, now this LC-Power is serving well. Ripjaws for RAM at some point maybe..?
