Skyrim for PC will have DirectX 11

Hell yeah chaps. Skyrim is DirectX 11 enabled and for modders out there it is still .nif 3d models.

  • Bethesda’s using Havok’s animation system (Havok Behavior) in their game

  • The .nif file extension used for mods is still used in Skyrim

  • Alongside the Fast-travel system from Oblivion will be a Carriage-system that takes you to other cities for a certain fee. This includes cities you haven’t visited yet.

  • There will be areas that are too hard for low-level characters.

  • There is no set amount of Dragons in the game, they’re placed pretty randomly, like other creatures

  • The conversation system, while now in real-time and without the zoomed-in view, still functions similarly to Oblivion’s

  • The new combat system is also supposed to help players differentiate and develop their characters into a specific form: “You can’t be everything at once.”

  • There’s crafting for each archetype (Magic, Combat, Stealth). The magic crafting system, as we know, is Enchanting, and allows you to enchant items and tinker with their effects.

  • There are more unique armor sets than in Oblivion

  • For those still hoping, no multiplayer.

Probably something like that...though i wish i could...let me a carriage take to another city in real time...like you would choose between the fast travel option and real time..oh that would be heaven..but that probably stays a dream. :whistling:

I could be wrong...but i'm pretty sure i heard somewhere that the carriage system will function like Red Dead Redemption's sorry for reviving this topic.

All that is pretty old news m8

I like how you can’t do everything in skyrim, in oblivion and morrowind towards much later in the game you became over powered and can do everything witch pretty much breaks the class system. It also makes the game very replay able since they have a lvl cap and you can only pick so many perks to define your class. Not to mention the radiant story system will give you a different outcome 2nd time around
