i know this is a stupid and a very noob question but i want to make sure.

So i have a few texture mods for CBBE like Apachi hair and SG Renewal body mods and im just wondering... if i install more texture overhaul like the eyes, lips, face, etc... will i lose FPS on more texture mods i have installed?

The short answer to your question is "yes." The longer answer is "It depends." I can run higher resolution texture mods for hairs, faces, eyes and skins without a lot of FPS drop. If you use a mod which, say, adds Apachii SkyHairs to everyone in Skyrim, then you're going to see a bigger drop. If you then add mods which add high res textures to things in the landscape, you'll see an even bigger loss.

However, if you have a good solid processor and 2 gigs of VRAM, you might see very little drop in performance. Much depends on your rig and the mods you choose to run. Actual RAM makes very little difference after 4 gigs. As a 32-bit game, Skyrim will only use 3.1 gigs of RAM, no matter how many you have. That's why VRAM makes more of a difference.

I'm running a I3 core processor with 4 gigs on ultra settings, plus high res mods such as Water, Flower and flora cites etc, no FPS drop what so ever, i have had 0 issues at all, plus about 150 mods, still running Windows 7 not sure if that really has any big part in play with FPS, but maybe that will give you an idea.
