I really don't understand how this is difficult. I jumped on the NMM alpha train when it first arrived on the nexus and personally never had any issues with it (therefore didn't report bugs). I have hundreds of mods installed and delicate way of setting up my textures yet still didn't run into problems.

I was even able to copy/paste my mods and folders to set up NMM alpha on a newly built computer so I wouldn't have to re-download and re-order my mods. Went smoothly.

For this update, I just uninstalled all mods and manually re-installed them like when I first set up NMM alpha. It's easier this way and faster since I knew exactly how to set up my game (took about an hour and a half tops).

Anyhow thank you for the great work on NMM, I personally like the UI as it is now and primarily use it for it's simplicity/aesthetic compared to say MO's god awful colors and design. People don't like change, that's their problem. There was ample time (months) to prepare for this.

Well, let's see. The NMM upgrade breaks SOS so all schlongified games will crash.

It also breaks CBBE which is preferred by the HDT users and HDT is used by lots of mods.

We can assume that everybody with adult mods will face a crashing Skyrim after the NMM update.

I can install CBBE just fine though, along with all my other mods, 250+.

It's running fine now....I even had to re-install the latest SKSE because the scripts were no longer compatible, so it wasn't a smooth transition, but I'll be ready for FO4 when it comes out. Now.....is there a tutorial on how to make and switch Profiles somewhere? My 10 yr old wants to play Skyrim, but no way in hell is he playing Daddy's version...:0

I am in the process of reinstalling everything because some mods didn't reinstall correctly and its about time anyway. I am not 100% but there should be a help drop down menu in the top of NMM that may have that information in there. Also the nexus wiki is another option to check about their profile switching.

Much obliged

This thread needs a little love too. Thank you guys for the continuous effort you put into developing NMM! With support for mods for so many games, I can only imagine the magnitude of this task.

It honestly makes me sad to see so much hate directed to you, caused primarily by false assumptions on the user side ("oh, update, it's probably just another bug fix", "wall of text, probably just unimportant dev rantings" ). For all that is good and fair in this world, I beg these users: pay attention to the BIG RED NOTICES, especially when you upgrade anything that is labelled beta or alpha! If you didn't, and your game is now messed up, then you have no place here shouting or expressing your anger. Please leave.

Sure, some things may have gotten actually broken while updating to 0.60, it's not perfect. But, if you find a bug or something that did something unexpectedly, do the logical thing, post a bug report in the proper place.

Dark0ne and co., I sincerely hope all the flaming won't get your spirits down. Keep up the great work.

Perfect timing! I had to refresh my laptop. This means I have to reinstall NMM anyways, and now have a fresh version waiting on me. I also have taken the time before refresh to copy all my mods to a folder separate of NMM, so no need to redownload the whopping 400 mods I had available.

I'm not actually grabbing it till Skyrim is back on my computer, though.

Because the rest of the world doesnt really know how to do these kind of things correctly. Because most of the time when these things are updated and remade, developers and people like you dont really explain how to do this.
Because most of the developers ASSUME everyone is like you and dont need any kind of install/update list.
