Though if the mods left, these forums would lose wonderful people who are so helpful. ;) Plus, there's still the flamers the trolls and the hijacking and necromancy they have to deal with. So please don't leave you guys and gals are excellent to have around. :D

True, true. Then there really wouldn't be a need for you guys (the moderators) :P ... Of course, if we never had you around, we woulcn'd be able to pee you guys off :P . He he. LOL

But seriously, if we never had any off you guys around, this forum would be strangely devoid of any kind of life  ...

Being referred to as a 'guy' is one thing guaranteed to 'pee me off' :P

That and people that can't spell for beans tend to make me mad. Though if there native laguage isn't english they have a good excuse.

Anyway back on topic, I joined for the forums and then found the mods. Most people join for the mods then never find the forums. Which is sad because this forum ROCKS!!!!! :)

From what I've seen, people for whom English is a second language tend to have pretty good spelling, but sometimes grammar and choice of wording are a bit odd.

I can't here you! Dat is not true! There first language witch day speak doesn't works the same way, even if day think it wood.

On a more serious note, English isn't my first language, and I tend to make grammar mistakes from time to time. I also use the wrong homophones. It can happen!

EDIT: Yay! 100% on this Homophone test :). http://www.bbc.co.uk/skillswise/words/spel...ones/quiz.shtml

You've completed level C

of the Skillswise Homophones

quiz and have scored:

10 /10

Is that all? I finished that in about two minutes (half of the time was spent loading the next page), and I stilll scored one hundred percent. I guess it helps though when one is forced by one's english teacher to write well :P .

btw, english is my first language, and I rarely make grammar errors. There are exceptions to the rule. However, it is just that: an exception. Most english speaking people still do take their own language for granted.
