RaceMenu Invalid Chargen

...()...So, I have the RaceMenu mod and the problem is, as soon as I log into game, I get the following message:

"RaceMenu Error(s): Invalid Chargen plugin version detected (4) expected (5). Invalid Chargen script version detected (2) expected (4). Error Codes: (8 )(10)"...()...

 

 

I've been getting your error ever since I installed RaceMenu (the "Invalid Chargen script version detected (2) expected (4). Error Codes: (10) " part). Error also pops-up during the loading screen when starting the game. I simply click "OK", the pop-up goes away and I've until now never had any problems with the mod, whatsoever...

Let me say this first; I'm not incredibly smart when it comes to mods so be warned I might be kind of hard to communicate with but please bear with me.

 

So, I have the RaceMenu mod and the problem is, as soon as I log into game, I get the following message:

"RaceMenu Error(s): Invalid Chargen plugin version detected (4) expected (5). Invalid Chargen script version detected (2) expected (4). Error Codes: (8 )(10)"

 

Does anyone know what this is/what it means? I use LOOT and I've gone through to see if there's anything dirty about RaceMenu. It says that the RaceMenuPlugin.esp is optional and if I seem to have errors to disable it. So, I deleted the file and I'm still getting the same exact message.

 

I've also scanned with TES5Edit to see if there's a possible wrong load order. I use the "Lunari Race" mod and I was wondering if maybe that had anything to do with it. I'd appreciate the feedback because I don't know what it is and if it's doing something to my game.

 

Ever since I started getting that message, I started to CTD when I tried looting, going into inventory (whether my own or to buy/sell something), and when trying to get to my quest journal. I don't know if that's something else entirely or if it's connected to this. Anyhow, I'd appreciate the help. Thank you.

 

(If it's somehow important, I use some other mods to help out within the game that might be connected to the problem and they are;

I assume you have fixed this by now.

 

I see numerous problems right off with your mods and load order. Enhanced character edit is useless if you are using up to date racemenu, so I would uninstall it. That caused errors for me and did not notice it missing. Racemenu plugins should be loaded before the extra racemenu options such as the morph (from what I am told). It looks like some of your graphics mods may be out of order. They also require ENB to run properly. I see SOS and other mods without the skeleton mods that go with is such xpm32 Maximum Skeleton and XPMSplusSOSplusSMS Skeleton. Then you have to run the FNIS anytime you make animation changes as well (which I am sure you already know). PCEA2 actually screwed up my other animations including some of the other FNIS ones, so I removed it for now.

 

I am could wrong on some of these. But I have many of the same mods plus more, but different load order sorted by LOOT and myself. Crashes are rare and usually only on a first load when starting the game.

I had a similar issue except none of the above fixed it. Whenever I start a new game [trying to fix issue] I am spinning on the carriage, I'm not in the back where I should be and I hear horse grunts before the picture comes into focus.

it's on the immersive armor by sir hothtrooper. had the same issue friend.

just untick it on the data files of skyrim's launcher ( all sir Hothtrooper armor mods. )

then start playing like normal. after the auto save on where hadvar role calls every prisoner, quit the game then re-activate sir Hothtrooper's armor mods.

P.S. never.EVER. overwrite the auto save where Hadvar is role calling everyone. you'll need it every time you'll start anew.

Have you tweaked papyrus?

watch a video named "stabalizing ( or however it is spelled ) Skyrim"

by tweaking it properly you'll avoid the ctd issues.

P.S. it does not totally kill the CTD attacks but it just stops CTD attacks temporarily... I think CTD occurs every 3 day straight of playing, I don't think you'll play that long though.

Never EVER EVER touch papyrus in Skyrim the only things you can change in that section are:

The latest version of RaceMenu 3.4.4 -- includes chargen.dll and nioverride.dll (so you do not need to install seperate mods anymore).

I suspect that another mod (you have installed) has installed it's own version of chargen.dll to the skse/plugins folder and chargen.pex to data/scripts.

All of the scripts are included in RaceMenu.bsa -- having a left over loose chargen.pex file will cause Error Code 10. (just delete chargen.pex from the scripts folder)

and ensure that chargen.dll is only installed by RaceMenu 3.4.4 (and has not been overwritten by another mod).

I also renamed the chargen.pex file, and it helped. Thanks!
