Fallout crashes after about 5-10mins

I've recently installed a lot of mods, thought I had them pretty well sorted, now I'm crashing like crazy. I'm on windows 10, I don't know if that's a problem, I didn't think it would because it ran fine before. I haven't gotten to play much but it seems like most everything happens out in the wasteland. I get about 30fps and my computer is fully capable of running it. However it does have an intel integrated grapics card and I'm using an enb, but no filter. I had to run the intel d3d9.dll as a proxy to get the enb to load. I have no clue if that's a no no, but I don't really want to revert back to no enb just yet, I do like having the enb option screen at my disposal. Anyways, I've been looking through FO3Edit trying to find a conflict that actually matters, most of them are like dialog topic or something small. I can't get a merged patch to finish though... It always gets to the very last mod which is Blackened RH + FWE + EVE and it is the conflict winner and none of the conflicts are major besides the ones its made to override. I don't know what I'm doing wrong at this point. I'm posting my load order, tell me anything I should change.

ok first of all you have no bashed or merged patch, and yes I read your entire paragraph. With a load order that huge, and integrated since you have a few mods that need patches to work together, you WILL continue to crash each and every single time you try to play the game. Not entirely sure why FO3Edit is hanging on that last mod, but I would suspect it's because you are missing a patch for for it. I would need to actually see what FO3Edit is reporting to you. Also, you make no mention at all of using BOSS or LOOT, this is a grave error if this is the case. Use LOOT as BOSS is no longer supported since May 2014.

 

I do have some good news for you though. Follow my guide STEP BY STEP and see if using ALL 3 programs together as a whole helps you out, let me know if you need more help :)

This is what FO3Edit gives me. It waits for about a second after fallout3.esm then the rest is instantaneous and ends with a bad merged patch. I started with LOOT and it gave me a really f'ed load order, so I did everything manually according to how mod authors recommended and used the LOOT order as a base, but I changed almost everything. I could try loot again I guess.

Since I posted this I ran the 1.7 update, last time I played it had a good run, but still ended in a crash. That's about the only thing I haven't done, I've told the fallout3.ini to use multi cores and etc, I just hadn't run that update, not that it did anything. I really want to get a merged patch then maybe clean the mods.

 

Edit: checked your guide, got Wrye Flash. Both Blacked, All Underground Hideout, and WMM are orange, but the mods are all over the place and not in the FOMM load order.

I got LOOT to give me a good load order, going to try it, Wrye Flash still doing nothing, FO3Edit still won't make a merged patch.

 

Edit 2: So, I've been playing a bit and I've noticing it's only crashing when I do certain things. Right now I'm trying to kill Silver in Springvale for Moriarty, but I crash jest before I get to the big red rocket. I just passed through Springvale earlier, so that's a little odd, but I did some tinkering in the meantime, haven't made many changes though. So far, places like Megaton and indoors run perfectly. This is obviously a mod conflict, I need to figure out what, make changes, then get a merged patch. Currently using the LOOT load order now.

You are using the wrong version of Mart's Mutant Mod to go with the Blackened Patch. Go back to the Blackened page and read the requirements.

 

Your load order is a complete mess. Go back to the mod pages and read what the mod authors have to say about the placement of their mods.

 

LOOT does NOT place compatibility patches correctly. This is evidenced by the placement of the Blackened patches and the placement of CRAFT and CALIBR, among other plugins.

 

Compatibility patches must be loaded after the last mod that is being patched.

 

LOOT does not sort Fallout 3 mods correctly.

 

READ your load order. You have unnecessary plugins installed.

 

If neither Wrye nor FO3Edit will allow you to make a bashed or merged patch, you do not have a good load order.

lol I bought this game when it was pretty much new and now, finally, in 2015 I actually have a computer strong enough to play it. That being said, I'm new to the modding scene, and Fallout is one of the more difficult games I've jumped into, Morrowind is the closest I've gotten and I've never really played much of that. I have to go to work, you guys would be the greatest if you helped me sort out the load order. As far as what I have now, I know it's pretty jumbled, I know LOOT just threw stuff around like CRAFT and CALIBR, I just went with it. I still have a copy of the load order I started this thread with, I plan to turn one of them into something organized. I did actually play the game for over an hour and a half last night, no problems, it stopped crashing at Springvale, it finally crashed in a loading screen exiting Megaton, but I think it was because a Windows update started screaming at me in the background. As for Blackened, I have the latest version of MMM. If the latest version of Blackened isn't compatible should I use FOIP? Also, what unnecessary plugins do I have? I thought I weeded them out.

Blackened is the best patch available for MMM. However, it only works with the Paradox Ignition version of MMM.

 

Unnecessary plugins would be MMM - Tougher Traders, Zones Respawn and Natural Selection, they are all part of FWE.

 

With your load list being such a mess, I will not try to sort out any others.

You need to check the mod pages to see what version they are. I don't use EVE or RH_Ironsights, so I don't know whether you should use the Blackened patches or the FOIP patches.

 

As for Fellout, I replaced it with DC Moods and I am really enjoying the changes.

Ok I'm working on getting all the compatibility patches now, getting rid of redundancies, I'll clean up the load order a bit, we'll see if that fixes my merged patch issue. I'll be back if I have any problems. You guys have been a big help so far, thanks a lot!

 

Edit: FO3edit still doesnt want to give me a merged patch. I went ahead and tried using what it gives me anyway, but now it's getting to the last mod and stopping, no messages after that, but it behaves as if it's done. It also won't run a master update, it says error still. I guess I'm not golden yet... here's what I've got now.

28 plugins not active should be removed. If the file is in the "Data" folder, the information will be loaded into memory.

 

Master Update is no longer recommended. It was a remedy from when FO3Edit was first published.
