SI compatibility

Parkillous, I've removed your bump post (which was spam, don't bump unless the thread has been dead for a week or more, and if you do please say something more substantial than just "bump") and your flame post where you decide to call someone a smart ass for pointing out your infringement of the rules. Consider this a warning, behave yourself. ;)

Its not going to be done eh? so If i get SI or install patch 1.2 i wont be able to play without the crappy levelling and loot system? do you know of anyone that is planning to do something like this for the expansion etc?

It'll be done, the game has only been out a week... Good modding takes time. Yeah, smaller ones which only change a few aspects might be done by now, but the major ones like Fran's and OOO might take a few months to get something basic out, and a few more to get it refined to where people can play it. I don't know what the structure in SI is like, it may even take years. If you require a specific date... How's October 5th, 2008? By then there should be something substantial finished.

The point you fail to get is that it will be done eventually if it needs to be done. Beyond that, nothing is known.

Damn, I was looking forward to being able to start a new character and just do everything (including SI) for a final time...

If I have to do some of the quests in oblivion several more times I will probably never play the game again...

You should see the list of mods ive got lined up, its sort of like a total conversion merely because of the amount there are...

This whole new patch/cs/expansion thing breaking all the mods is really annoying *runs away and cries*

FM has got some huge conflicts with SI (patch 1.2), but the author of FM said, that he will release a new version of FM in a few days (but like DeusXMachina said, there already a fix out there for these problems, but Ill wait for the new version).

But does someone know if Modular Oblivion Enhanced r17 is compatible with SI (patch 1.2)?

i have SI, and as far as i can tell it changes NOTHING in the default oblivion world. The so these mods shouldnt affect anything in the SI really...

They shouldn't, but before I put Shivering Isles on I patched Oblivion up to 1.2 and OOO 1.31 was causing errors all over the place. Oddly enough it was causing terrain to disappear, so I had to turn it off :(
