Hi all, I am having some problems getting the fo4 to run with f4se. I have fo4 v1.5.157.0, I downloaded f4se 0.01.13 copied f4se_1_5_157.dll, f4se_steam_loader.dll and f4se_loader.exe into my fallout4 folder per the f4se readme instructions. When I double click f4se_loader.exe to test and see if it will run , the f4se CMD screen pops up for about 20 seconds then disappears. The game itself does not launch. I can launch and run the game normally through NMM or just double clicking fallout4launcher.exe I get the follow 2 entry message in windows application log.

I CTD every time I try to play with or with out mods and with or with out F4SE/Normal launcher... If this is due to not doing the new NMM update I am refraining from doing it because I do not want my mods all jacked up thanks to the damn uninstall/reinstall.

This has nothing to do with F4SE. Just read one of the thousands of topic talking about mods and v1.5

i have found the perfect solution, just stick with v1.4  .

I was having mod issues but it was pretty easy to remedy after updating to 1.5. I simply disabled all mods then re-enabled them one at a time. Now all the same mods I had before are working just fine with 1.5. Although I only have about 94 mods that I am using.

Nope, still telling me my mods aren't there, even tho' they are... and that still doesn't explain the crashes when trying to create a new character. =/

I had the same issue. Check to see if you've got "Vanilla Outfits for CBBE BodySlide" installed. Uninstall it and you should be able to start a new game.

If you're still getting the message telling you that your mods aren't there; try installing "Unofficial Fallout 4 Patch" as well as updating "Armor and Weapons Keyword Community Resource" and make sure that "AWKCR Patch for UFO4P.esp" is activated.

Hope this helps.

How does one actually make a mod using/requiring F4SE?

I've looked using the SKSE, but I cannot find anything on how to make a mod with it. Just how to install it and use mods that require it.

I'm working on a mod for FO4, and I think one of the problems I'm dealing with will require to F4SE to fix. Is this going to be possible, or will only the Silverlock team be making mods with F4SE?

Thanks.
