Deleted54170User
Socialism by a Federal body = evil.Trump being allowed to run = horrible and sometimes comical.Hillary allowed to run =evil A crook who has been caught red handed. She lost her license to practice law. No brainer. Find another candidate to replace her.So we get Sanders? I agree with WursWaldo. on his views. So we are told that we have choices because we can 'pick our poison'. a lot of this would stop if we just outlawed PAC and lobbyists. Our votes don't count because of them. I used to tell a joke, "Whats worse than a communist, a dictator, a republican, a democrat, or a liberal? Every time it is a LOBBYIST working for self interest. They cansneak into ANY camp and disrupt the process. I guess its not a joke anymore. Too much of it is real. I used to love my country. Now I just 'like' it barely. No better place to be. So sad. Can the candidates do anything for us? MOTHER! I'M HUNGRY! FATHER?! WHERE'S FATHER? ISN'T HE OUT HUNTING/FISHING AND GOING TO BRING US SOME FOOD SOON? So sad.Yeah, getting the money out of politics would be nice, but, I don't ever see it happening. Short of a revolution..... The only folks that CAN change the system, are the very same folks that benefit most from NOT changing it....... How's that for fun? And also, yes, this is NOT the same country I grew up in.... We have become a pale shadow of our former selves.
HeyYou
And now it seems John Kasich (sp?) has dropped out as well. That leaves...... Trump. The republican party is just going to love that.....
sunshinenbrick
Isn't Trump just a plant? I'm mean... Trump... card... it all seems to be a bit scripted. In all honesty I feel, as with other elections (we are having one where I live today), it is just more of a side show.

WursWaldo
Just happy lie'n Ted is out of the running. I couldn't deal with his Southern preacher idiom for 8 years. And yes, Reaganite Republicans hate Trump. The thing is, modern politics are leaving them behind. Trump might have to do what Lincoln, Teddy Roosevelt, Eisenhower, and Reagan did to gain any traction; that's rebuild the party and and disenfranchise the established elite. I don't think that would be a bad thing. Softening the pointless rhetoric on topics like abortion could go a long way to bringing others closer to the party, and it would disarm that particular Liberal hot point. Not scuttling established entitlements like Social Security and Medicare would also go a long way. I consider myself a conservative but there are agendas held by old school Republicans that I do not agree with. I think core principles like a strong military and economic growth need to be held on to, but this is a new era and the world is leaving some Republicans in the last century. At least, I hope they aren't very common. :) I know I have serious disagreements with both parties on various things......
