Seems like there's a few workarounds for this now but if anyone needs or wants it here's a link to my Fallout4Launcher.exe dated 13th Nov.

Not had Steam running for a few days now and stumbled upon this thread before I opened it and it auto updated. <<phew>>.

Edited because original link was without decryption key.

hello modding community,

one of my mods stopped working after the update... the endless fusion core for power armor (where fusion core does not get depleted)

I've tried a few things in this thread, but nothing has helped.

Just was hoping somebody could explain what the proper method is for fixing this specifically, if it has actually been mentioned. It's the only one that I can't get working.

Anyway here is a temporary fix, go to http://f4se.silverlock.org/ and download the Fallout 4 beta 1.2.37 file

Copy all files into ur FO4 (steam-steam app-common-Fallout 4) now open NMM and go to Settings-Fallout 4 under Custom Launcher thers a field called Command, type in f4se_loader and save. Now enable all ESP´ S as the update disables them, go to Top left Corner on the NMM and change the Launch Fallout 4 to Launch Custom Launcher, should work.

Long explenation for newcommers.

You're the best, thanks for the fix. <3

looks like NMM has updated and now fixes the mod problem...just start nmm.. then start launcher.. activate all mods, all seems well ..checked twice

NMM just updated and the main fix is this issue in this thread. use the NMM to launch fallout and your fine now, it blocks the launcher from screwing with the files.

Since I have already been installing my mods manually, and already had plugins.txt set to read-only, I didn't have any new problems with the new patch.

The game starts up and plays as usual.

Still having a stupid Windows message pop-up in Win7 that randomly jumps me out of the game. I suppose someone has a fix for that.

A lot of places on the forums (and other places online) say that launching the game will cause the mods to deactivate, so you just have to turn them on before hitting play. I'm having no such issue though. My mods are staying active through the launch, but they're still not working. I have found no working solution so far. I tried installing F4SE and everything.

[EDIT]: I actually just tried editing the files as shown here and my mods are all working now. :)

There could be changes to the core game that make mods you're using incompatible with it. Look back at the mod page and see if there are fixes by the mod author. That's something you have to do every official patch of any game that has extensive modding. If the mod author is worth a damn, they put out fixes. Some sooner than others, as long as they know what's going on, what they need to do, and are actually on top of things.
