Mods still work, though. I just have to keep using the workaround method, of opening NMM, then the FO Launcher, then rechecking all the mods. Sure will be happy when the GECK is out next year. Try to launch via Fallout4.exe, not Launcher itself.

ronax21
i don´t know why but when im trying too use the updated 0.61.3 version it doesn't work, it closes it self. I tried reinstalling the 0.61.1 version and it works. Help please. Edited December 9, 2015 by ronax21
NVManiac
-All,Didn't read all the comments, but this works for me. I've been using this mod <PlayFallout4Now by Elmar le Grange> for several weeks. I haven't had any issues since Steam updated FO4 with the latest patch.-NVM
zivjax
Good job guys! For those having trouble, check you Fallout.ini file. The new update from Bethesda overwrote mine and removed the bInvalidateOlderFiles=1 variable. This will prevent mods from loading cleanly. You need to add it back. FalloutPrefs.ini seemed unaffected. Took a while for the updater to work but when it did, it did.You might want to manually remove NMM and replace it. Big pain. Make sure you check all your paths before you remove it. ZedLeppelin
Some folks seem to be missing a key part of the above article and the purpose behind the NMM 0.61.3 update... Going to >> << the important bit. "Today we have released NMM 0.61.3, this release will once again allow for you to >>run Fallout 4 directly from NMM<< with all your mods and build order intact." To be more clear, it's saying for this fix to work, you need to launch the game from within the NMM.
