WindyCityMike
This is the base id for the solar panels in New Vegas 0015ecd9I was trying to figure out a way to just make a simple mod by changing the texture skin on the small generator and eliminating the sound on that item. I could use some guidance unless someone else wants to go forth with this idea.
Boombro
You can't use meshes form other games.
WindyCityMike
True... Could I use the texture only over an existing mesh to make it "look" like a solar panel? I am thinking maybe a slanted roof tile like the ones used in the green houses. There is a very cool mod with those tiles. Maybe he could point me at a tile I could recycle. Dhegonus
not allowed to use files from any game (i,e porting) or at least not allowed to release them to the public, anyway,
ecutruin
not allowed to use files from any game (i,e porting) or at least not allowed to release them to the public, anyway, It would actually be allowed for him to create a new object that acts like a solar panel using a model reference from within FO4, with a new texture though. Which, I believe is what he was saying by using the slanted roof. Now...that makes me quite curious. I wonder if you can make a roof object (aka one that is snap'able) that also supplies power.
