Then i come up to a stray eyebot. he is spouting his adds to giant rad-scorpions and deathclaws.. doubt if they get the message, or care for that matter. I never hacked a robot.. lets try... I hack the Eyebot. Noting i can use.. i could shut him up.. or down, as it says. but i don't bother, i kinda like the futility of an advertising eyebot in the middle of the waking sea. i let him go.. 10 min later, the eyebot is still following me.. then i hear a growl.. turn around, and there stands a rather angry mythic deathclaw. I think; "oh you picked on the wrong person today mr deathclaw.."But before i can do anything, the eyebot zips past my head. and attacks the deathclaw with his laser... i just stand there.. watching this battle between the big angry and the small silent.. So far he's had the best lines in the game for me - some of which really make me laugh. I love the personality that he has, this prim proper english robot that deep down is a stone cold killer that loves a good fight. Yep Codsworth is worth every bit of game time you spend with him. If we can 'transform' Curie, hopefully a mod can come out so we can 'Transfer' Codsworth into a sentry bot. Moraelin Posted February 8, 2016 Share Posted February 8, 2016 Actually, I suspect it would be trivial to "transfer" Codsworth into a human body or any other body. You'd just need to script a quest and the dialogues, if you want it to fit seamlessly in the game, so that's kinda GECK domain. But if you just want him replaced off-screen, so to speak, and can fill in the story blanks in your head for how it happened, you can do that today. Mind you, I'm not convinced it's that much of an improvement. Curie has a bunch of lines related to that transformation, while Codsworth would just be spouting his old lines. Then I hear a raider go, "Hey, it's Nick! Hold your fire!" And then they turn friendly and he starts chatting with Nick about some case that Nick solved for him. I thought that was frikken AWESOME. - So I placed a firefighter protectron in Silent... err... Sanctuary Hill. Then an incendiary Tommy-gun drops off a legendary Triggerman, and I go back to SH to move my silver-plated receiver to it. (I can't jolly well be the Silver Shroud without a silver SMG, now can I?) You can see where this is going. The robot comes to me and tells me the item I'm holding is a fire hazard, and asks me to put it away. - The whole General Atomics gallery was frikken hilarious. I watch it for a while, and then turn to it and say: "What made you think that this was a good idea ?.. I mean.. you really didn't believe that you could win this fight, did you ?...." Kept hitting it with a mix of gunfire and plasma grenades - then ran out - so at last ditch I switched to a machete and smacked it in the face - it started to run off and I chased it from the edge of the glowing sea to the Corvega plant where some raiders stole my kill.Found a few guns at that point and laid waste to everyone in the area, kill-stealing scumbags.
