Yes but if they do not properly mark it as adult it should be reported for the moderators to handle and fix or give a formal warning if it is a reoccurring issue. This includes adult content in pictures associated with the mod even if the mod is not adult. They would need to mark it as such or remove the pictures. I had to do this on more than one occasion when moderating.

 

 

Well I obviously can't speak for the Nexus but I'm sure there is oversight being done. As for console mods, they are going to have very draconian rules in place. They aren't going to risk something getting on their website.

Of course. Moderation relies heavily on reports, but reports are welcome.

 

And I agree about consoles. I think that there will be more stringent controls on mod content for many reasons.

I think Nexaus need to put in some features if kids getting on this site. This isn't like that porn mod site for skyrim but this have just as 50% as much porn it has.

There needs to be filter or something and stop having nude mods on the front page.

I do wish these modders grow up and make a more decent mod then one that express there fetish. It may be personal to me but I'm really getting sick how people today are viewing women and this isn't helping. I'm already questioning why so many mod reviewers keep reviewing a mod using a sexualized female avatar.

I know... I know... and I've been reading similar comments about people's concerns regarding the Hot Files images being filled with boobs and vaginas. Look... this is just a phase. Nexus goes through it every single time a Bethesda game first get's its porn mods. Give it roughly 1-2 months and things will get back to normal.

As many have stated already, I am one of those who doesnt personally find anything fun / interesting about adding nudity to my game, it doesnt do anything for me personally. But I believe it is everyones personal choice to do as they wish...

I will say that, I agree in the sense that I wish the community was more focused on mods that actually add to the game experience for me, but I respect that there is no obligation to do so and thus don't complain over it. Part of it is the lack of GECK, too.


And lastly... I do have to laugh a little at people that state that they do it "For immersion!!!!!"... when more often than not they add in a ridiculously exaggerated "barbie" body style for women with over-the-top body shapes, and yet... they don't also add in nude male models with massive male-parts for "Immersion" sake, either ;). . If you are going to make it immersive, then both the men and women should be naked, no? :P

Also, I see someone mentioning "Think of the kids coming to this site!" Welllllllll. A) There is a nexus filter, and B), most importantly, this is an MATURE (M) rated game. *IF* a kid under the age suggested is playing this game, then I hope to god they are just as capable of seeing a pair of virtual boobs / vagina / weiner as they are of blowing someone to a thousand pieces with a missile launcher. The fact is, young kids should NOT be playing this game without their parents being very aware of its content.

Sadly, a lot of parents these days don't care at all and rather complain about the content in the game after buying the M rated game for their 12 yr old...

I get it, these types of mods bother you and the hot files are filled with them and you don't want to see them, but you can simply do the following:

 

-Bookmark mod categories, a list of hot files would appear without screenshots.

-Bookmark the forums to not have to go through the hot files page.

-Use tag block, if a mods was not tagged right. Politely tell the modder.

-Go the real nexus forum and ask for a better filter.

-Go the real nexus forum, and civilly talk about restricting thumbnails as a suggestion.

-Leave and and come back after a GECK comes out by a week.

 

 

As for stopping these mods because they belittle women, I, as a young female adult I say BS. This is freaking 201something. There is a lot of women working in the industry or consume porn as common as your average man and some even more these days, and with shows that have nudity and sex being big hits like games of thrones, Archer and many others. No wait, we forgot women main source of simulation. Go to a book store, see how many novels targeted at adult women have sex in them. Hint: all of them.

 

Most female beth players hardly give a dame about a mod that makes all women the game have tits the defy logic, some will even show you a mod that makes men nude, erect and covered fully in body hair as a friendly chat about mod lists even since there is this kind of mods for older titles, they are just in other sites because they get some drama here or more support there. They have what you would they think they have, better butts, sweaty skin, big hard junks, larger/skinner bodies, little skin clothing, way more body hair etc You may have heard of or saw SAM outfits, a male version of CBBE for Skyrim and you can get screenshots as crazy, just google it.

 

Some women do make and use those very mods Like CBBE itself. There is also many skimpy armor mods in Skyrim that are female.

 

You are making those threads, thinking you can change something, but guess what dude. I have been here since early 2014. I saw about 10 of these threads in my stay. You rally some people, they all bash those mods and the modders, saying they are s#*!, not real modders, nick name the users pathetic man babies and what not for a week at most and the thread dies. This a thing since oblivion and FO3, you are just one of the them.

I'm a woman, and TBH I like jiggle physics and skimpy armor and all that, I just wish there was more... ahem equality, there's a beautiful CBBE body model for female characters, but there's not even a decent nude mod for dudes yet, and I just feel that women deserve as much fanservice aimed at them as men.

 

Like I don't think there's anything inherently belittling about boobs, I'm a peroxide blonde with silicone boobs, as well as an ardent feminist, and member of the IWW gender equity committee, I look like barbie, and I'm still a human being quite capable of standing up for myself and having independent thought.

 

I like sexy, I just want just as much sexy intended for my enjoyment and consumption

But like some other people mentioned on the Innies mod itself, we have to wonder what would be a bit more tasteful thumbnail. I mean, the thumbnail is supposed to represent what the mod does, and in this case the mod changes the vagina, there's not much else you can put there as picture.

I don't know if you're talking about the pubic hair mod or the Innies mod, but I've taken a look at the comments on the Innies mod and people have already requested the author to change it, but she refused to.

 

I can understand why she refuses, like I said the thumbnail is supposed to show what the mod does (Talking about texture or mesh mods) and a title image isn't really going to attract people to click on it.
