You need the Free Flash Decompiler I linked to import and export shapes from the swf file. You can edit the shapes using adobe flash (aka adobe animate) or in adobe illustrator. When I say flash I don't mean the flash player that is in chrome I mean the Flash animation software. There may be other programs out there that edit these files, and I know that adobe offers short term free trials of their software.

That's really all there is to it.

Actually i believe if i can only remove shapes in dialogmenu and add new ones it ll be ok (Can you tell me pls is that enaugh?). But when i try to import, i cant beause there are 4 thing (swf sml , text, script, symbol class) but none of them can see .svg files (or png etc.). So ı cant add. I use Jpexs free flash dec. İs there something i missed?

As far as I know you just need to replace the shapes. Leave the other stuff alone. Just find the shapes and right click and select replace.

As far as my experience goes with Adobe Flash (now Animate). The best course of action when working with it, is to create the artwork in Adobe Illustrator, Keep it as an AI file, don't save it as an image or what have you. Then you need to Import it into Flash, but there are a few quirks to Importing. While yes your art needs to be in different layers, you can't have any of them locked! Artboard size has to the be same in both programs, yatta yatta, isn't too hard. I have the Adobe Suite and might be able to lend a hand. I'm in college for Graphic Design, working on my Bachelors after I got my associates. While I have no problem doing animation, interactive with action script was a hard one for me. But from what I understand, you're simply replacing Gif files If I had to guess.

Hey,

I might just be an idiot, but I need to make sure.

So I cleanly installed the latest alpha version 1.6 (was not prompted to overwrite anything) and, while SPECIAL, conditions and all other HUD elements I could spot so far changed flawlessly, I am confused by the quest animations in the pipboy data tab.

I read in earlier posts about a placeholder only showing vault girl giving a thumbs up being implemented in an alpha version released in march. However, browsing data\interface\components I found many files suggesting faction specific quest animations and other quest animations.

So my question is:

Is the use of the thumbs-up placeholder for quests still intended in version alpha 1.6 (10/23/2016) or is the download missing a file to link things together correctly?

Great work so far! Can't wait for updates!

The only quest icons replaced with a Vault Girl giving a thumbs up are the ones that used to be Vault Boy giving a thumbs up. The animation for this is actually located within one of the pipboy menu files. I may implement more quest icons in the future.

Also heads up I'm going to release an update soon and it's going to have a fomod installer and some options people have been requesting like patches for other mods, unzipped vault suit, non bouncing status screen, also a few options for the head on the status screen.

Btw update is up:

Vault Girl Mod - Alpha 1.7 Download (11/13/16)

https://www.mediafire.com/?93e98r4wefa77wf

That's great news, but please remember, not all of us use the FOMod installer, so please let us know how to work with the options too. Thank you again for this. XD

I tried to make sure the different folders were named in a way that made sense. I can include a readme in the next update if people get confused though.

Thanks again, as always, looking into it now...

So, I installed the main mod and the full dialog option, I assume we need to pick something from each folder? It appears that is the case. For example, if I don't install anything else at this point, would there be nothing for the well rested if I do not pick one of those (assuming there was not something left from the old version)? Just wanting to make sure before I do something incorrectly.

It appears you have made patches for a number of things in there, very nice. I am sure a lot of people are going to be very happy with the update. ;)

...Also, for the stats options, we need to pick a head and a body individually? I assume Armored is no bounce, does that make unzipped bounce? seems logical, but...

It might be nice to name the screen shots, or write on them what is what, I again, assume the short hair is 'pixie' and the classic is the curly hair?

You need to select one of every option. If you don't use the mods that have patches for them, then you need to select the normal file or else you will be missing parts of the mod. The heads and bodies must be selected individually since they are separate files and can be mixed and matched. Unzipped is bouncy, armored it not bouncy, like you said. The rest of what you said is also true, pixie is the short hair, classic is the curly hair, sunglasses is the one that wears sunglasses. Next update I'll rename the images for people who don't like using fomods.
