I just hit level 40 and really don't want to start over just because of this stupid glitch...Yes it is ... just a little harder. you'll need to come as close as you can to the bugged out robot's red dot on your compass, and melee it, it works. The only way I've found I can damage them myself is via mines or by doing a power armor ground slam aoe (which typically only works outside, having a jetpack helped). I'm more annoyed at not being able to loot than anything lol. Far as the keyword issue, didn't help when I tried resolving that one. That was the first method I tried. I'm going to try the earlier explained method spawning one of the problem robots over and over til I find which mod/mods are the culprit... just dreading the time sink so I haven't done it yet. Update -Finally figured mine out, after removing a few addons to no avail (Jetpacks Unlimited, Wearable Backpacks, and SSEx), the one that finally fixed everything (I saw an Assaultron attacking me! YAY! Lol) was removing More Power Armor Mods. How did you respawn him? Did you use recycleactor? I'm at this point where I've resolved the bug and can spawn visible robots again, but Curie and Takahashi are still invisible. Recycleactor doesn't seem to affect them. Spawning completely new versions makes a new copy of them that doesn't seem to be functional (Takahashi just sits idle, Curie can accept follower commands, but won't talk to me like normal, etc...) SephDragoon Posted March 3, 2016 Share Posted March 3, 2016 For me it was an old version of the "Damage Type Variation" mod which was modifying the robot's race entries directly. Evidently this caused an incompatibility in newer version (so it only showed up after a patch). Getting the newest version fixed it for me. GabrielMedeiroz Posted March 5, 2016 Share Posted March 5, 2016 To be fair... i did one action before the start of my next playthrough.I went to General Atomics and started shutting down and self-destruct the units in there.Then, when i entered the game with a new character, i found out codsworth was invisible, same with takahashi, and other mister handy units.Dunno if it`s a mod or not, but i honestly doubt it, no alterations were made when i started the new character.So... anyone did the same action? shahriArkangel Posted March 9, 2016 Share Posted March 9, 2016 I've found the culprit and its the Cross Uni BOS uniform mod- when console spawning, for example, Sarge with the mod on makes it invisible, but when turned off its visible again. So I turned it off then loaded a save game and slept for 4 days straight hoping this would clear up all the glitched copies, but then in the Old Castle mission I still had the problem. If I have to revert back to a two days old save I'll feel like killing myself.Hence I ask of you brethren, tell me a way to reset all the robots so they are good again :'( Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

The problem that arises from too many keywords does not affect the robots such as Codsworth however there are mods that can cause very similar issues. So if generic enemy robots are invisible but Codsworth IS visible then you hit keyword cap but if ALL robots are having an issue then it's likely a mod causing it. For example I know that I am about 3-5 keywords from cap and if I add a mod that adds 5 or 6 keywords bots will disappear reliably and I can test it by spawning a Gunner Lt. Gutsy and he'll be invisible until I remove enough keywords (mod/s totaling keywords the amount I went over).
