I have a netbook fully capable of running fallout 4; however fully playable outside 40 frames. But inside a get 10, everything is a the posiible lowest + im using low texture mods as well.

I need someoone to make me a few mods for me for two different reasons; I need a mod which makes all UI and text larger to see the screen because I'm very shortsighted and 1 mod to decrease lag in the game; maybe a low poly models mod.

SPECS

core i3 processor >2.0ghz

8gb of Ram

Iris Graphics. (Intel HD?)

Any think they could help.

Fallout 4 minimum specs:

  • Windows 7/8/10 (64-bit OS required)
  • Intel Core i5-2300 2.8 GHz/AMD Phenom II X4 945 3.0 GHz or equivalent
  • 8 GB RAM
  • 30 GB free HDD space
  • NVIDIA GTX 550 Ti 2GB/AMD Radeon HD 7870 2GB or equivalent.

I'm surprised you get even 10 FPS with an integrated graphics driver, let alone 40. You could try this mod, but I'm not really sure how much it'll help without a low-poly mesh mod as well.

thank you. I'm getting huge performance increases indoors now; is there any mod to make the interface larger because I can't see the text on the screen without squinting. thanks in advance. :)

ps I did not realise the textures were super duper small; but I could not tell the difference between vanilla and the mod!

Yeah, that mod is called glasses

You might try lowering the resolution...that will make text larger and also may help with your performance issues.

No, you don't. No DX11 graphics driver? No Fallout 4.

I know that people want to get into PC gaming, but even I, EVEN I, who knows very little about how computers work (aside from being able to swap out parts that you can connect with wires and screws ;P) know that something like that (and I don't mean to offend) is crap and has about as much chance at running a next gen game as a potato generator does.

I'd say that every three years, if you want to game on a PC, is when you need to do a tune up. I'd say that you should use your graphics card as a metric to judge if you need to swap parts out, because everything else will probably need to be upgraded to handle the new card/processing demands, and your machine will probably be weary from strenuous everyday use as well.

The graphics card is by far the most important part of a gaming rig, everything else can be a BIT subpar, but you are going no where with crappy integrated graphics on laptops and desktops without a dedicated GPU.

Most of the time you'll spend about 1k on something that can run current gen games, and maybe a gen higher (to start, then you'd have to maintain it), though, some people with E-peen issues might claim that you need a super computer to do it, with advanced cooling systems and 2 GPU's, three monitors, and all that other shiz that ends up costing 2-5k which is not needed at all, except for maybe one or two games.

Anywho, you can build your own stuff and customize it on the net with places like Newegg, though you can get by with buying something from a manufacturer. My HP laptop did just fine that I bought from their site three years ago, and she's a tough old bird, before I got my new laptop.

Just do some research on which GPU's are actually GOOD for gaming. Just because it's new and shiny doesn't mean that it's good for gaming, you can find reviews for graphics cards online for gaming quality fairly easily.
