It's also affecting download speed, with many downloads failing part way through or erroring due to connection loss. On the plus side, I can now actually browse mods. Pugwash2004 Posted February 2, 2016 Share Posted February 2, 2016 (edited) I guess the issues with BT aren't helping today either. tbh the issue almost feels like the mtu problem I first had with broadband, it would also be really slow and then suddenly spring in life and then back to slow. Doing a ping test against www.nexusmods.com to check and got to a maximum ping size of 996 bytes at 997 it failed completely. Pugwash2004 Posted February 3, 2016 Share Posted February 3, 2016 (edited) Only tried a few pages but it does appear to be working : 11.51am I've got plusnet at work, I can check any time during the day so I'll keep an eye on it. edit: I've just tried a manual download, FO4 enhanced blood texture, getting a download speed of 1Mb/s so hopefully it's sorted. Sentarum Posted February 3, 2016 Share Posted February 3, 2016 Was finally able to access nexusmods this morning and install the mod manager (recently rebuilt computer) so I can get back into wonderfully modded Skyrim again.
