Moraelin
You know, now that you mention it, you may be onto something. And the Enclave might have been onto something. Rolling over everything with a whole squad of Enclave-style black X-01 troopers sounds... hot.
jcdenton2012
That power armor design makes me want to protect a "Little Sister" for some strange reason.

robhartman9
The Squad http://images.akamai.steamusercontent.com/ugc/321248520407911026/5396B7571EB6D4ECA2D672FB73551C269779856F/ http://images.akamai.steamusercontent.com/ugc/321248520407924305/A010C0739C821F214D08208FC28E026871612335/ having some trouble with the setessential command. The corporal can be killed and she is kind of weak compared to the other 2. I click on the NPC and it says " (00008295)[PP][T] but when I tried that in various syntax the best result I could get was invalid actor code. Should I use a different method of getting the ID? Moraelin
I never tried making npcs essential, so no first hand experience. I assume it wouldn't make much sense for a generic NPC, though, where the base ID might be shared by several NPCs. Have you tried simply using multiple companions instead? Pretty sure I've seen a mod that said you could have multiple companions. And at least one of them already has his own PA frame. You probably figured that one out already, but you can simply give PA pieces to Danse and tell him to equip them.
robhartman9
I might have to try that. The lower level NPC cant keep up. The scripted NPC"s level up. Still would like to keep the minuteman for a 5 girl squad. The Corporal, Cait, Curie, Piper, and Leeloo the 5th element
Moraelin
Well... if it's anything like FO3, NV, and Skyrim -- and I'm taking a wild guess that it is -- people have a max leven and a scaling factor. E.g., some NPC might gain 0.75 levels for each level the PC gets, up to, say, level 10. So if the corporal is a new NPC, and you're not afraid of the big bad FO4Edit, you might be able to make her level up.
tomomi1922
One of the reason Institute doesn't use PA because most of their agents are synth. Coursers will use invisible and go through all kind of places that PA can't get to. Courser X-92 Power Suithttp://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/9278/?This should be the answer to a PA for institute. Albeit it is not quite functional without GECK. I mean it is just a vault suit right now with a lot of modular items. But it doesn't quite have a real PA corespondent system, wait until after GECK. Then Institute agent should be more flexible, acrobatic that run and jump everywhere, not everyone has to be bulky and loud.
TheVampireDante
not everyone has to be bulky and loud. No, not always - but there's always the possibility that some situations would require just that course of action. Take the Assault on: the Brotherhood at the airport if you follow the Institute's questline, where you attempt to breach the place and secure the use of Liberty Prime - that right there, alter the initial infiltration would have been the perfect opportunity to field a group of heavily armed and armoured Synths, alongside the regular relayed troop units and Coursers.
