Blue Flame
I have the "Hadhafang" sword from LoTR. It's Arwen's sword. I was gonna get Glamdring (Gandolf's) or the sword Aragorn has. But I just loved the design of Hadhafang. I also have a battle-ready double bladed viking axe. It's pretty big. I think the blade is 18" across, and 1/4" thick. With a 40" handle. I'm pretty sure it was made to kill in one sweep, it probably weighs 15lbs (or more). So it would have been to heavy to keep swinging back and forth. ( I bet it works great on cats...) *ques evil laugh*
Death_Penalty
Hadhafang is gorgeous.I have a Morrowind mod for it! :lol:And originally it was *Lord Elrond's* sword, he gave it to his daughter.I assume you know what the inscription on it says. Admiral
Most weapons are made to kill in one sweep. ;) Lord of the Rings: fantasy weapons are the few that I actually like. (some know my opinions on most fantasy weapons). Hadhafang

The Mantis
Additional Info on the Tai Chi sword It is 1 poundIt has designs on the bladeThe blade is flexible so it can bend like a sawAll tai chi swords have hiltsIn tai chi all the moves are done extremly slow. I mean as slow as humanly possible. This allows you to focus your chi. With the tai chi sword the strikes begin slow then explode with power at the end. The tai chi sword is made for thrusting. So all the moves in the sword form are different versions of thrusts. All tai chi swords have a ball of string or a cloth on the end. This is called a tassle. It is used to distract the opponent. All sheaths for tai chi swords are made so that the sword can be carried on your back.

[TB]AEEE
Woh!! Now this is a thread with some good information! hey, where can I get a sword for 20 bucks? So far all I have is a short spear from africa! I really like "plain swords" not all this fantsy-stuff on them, like skulls and dragons! The sword in the Braveheart movie is on of my favourite! Does anyone here do "live roleplay"?I don´t but the type of armor they wear sometimes (full armor) is pretty cool! I wonder what real armor used to weigh ?
