HadToRegister
I think you are wrong. Like I said, when Bethesda releases patches, do you not care for downloading them or at least checking out the bugs new patches fixed? By your logic, unless one experiences problems with the game, one should not bother updating or checking out release notes for whichever update. This is also why Mod Pages have a "Changes" section, which can either be vague or detailed. Obviously we can't expect the same level of details from mod-makers because unlike Bethesda, they don't owe us anything, but plenty of modders release detailed notes... Modding is hard and I bet Neanka doesn't get nearly as many complains as other modders, who keep going regardless....how on earth does that follow? The problem here is that if you ran into any problems, you had all the tools you needed to fix them yourself. But you couldn't be bothered to even check if there were problems. The saddest part in all of this is the person can't even see the reason that Neanka quit, while being one of the reasons why Neanka quit right here in this thread

Norr
So... found a small bug. When installing DEF_INV default setting is synced tabs, which I prefer to play without. Opening the settings.swf and unticking this box (actually, opening settings.swf and editing any setting) sets all text in the pipboy to 12 p, even though it should be 18 p. I'ts slightly annoying but if it can't be fixed/worked around it's no biggie. The question is, of course, if anyone else has experienced this effect and has discovered a workaround, or if it's just my setup that doesn't like me. Norr
Thank you Neanka. I found that changing the "true/false" settings I wanted by editing DEF_INV.xml directly using Notepad++ bypassed the font size issue completely.
JuJooGuppy
Wow, just wow.First, Neanka, I am so sorry that these negative / lazy / selfish individuals have driven you to this point -- it is completely understandable on your part. I won't tell you to come back, or to stay, etc. I will tell you to do whatever makes you happiest. I will say for the communities sake that you consider returning at some point, as you are clearly talented and have created fantastic work, and for that to be spoiled by people too selfish to realize it is sad to say the least.2nd, within this very thread explaining WHY he stepped away, there are people still trying to track him down for support to problems, and then when told they can help solve their problem and given a direction to do so, still press for more from an author that has stated they are leaving due to similiar reasons.... that just blows my mind. Seems to me that those individuals only care about themselves. Crazy to think people went as far as trying to track down mod authors on completely unrelated sites to get answers they felt they were owed.. perhaps its cliche, but it does seem like we have a generation of people that feel like they are 'owed' things, or that they have to be catered to completely regardless of how rude they are...Sorry for the mild rant, I just find this absolutely ridiculous. I wish you the best Neanka, in whatever you chose to do. I hope that Fallout 4 modding is in that future at some point, but dont for a second think I believe you owe me or anyone anything. If you never come back, that is YOUR choice and I support it 100%. PS - I am not explicitly talking about everyone whom has asked for support here; Most have at least been respectful, and taken the answers and used them to fix their own problems. Certain individuals didn't find that to be good enough.. Edited March 9, 2016 by JuJooGuppy
