I never seeing any Squirrels in the entire fallout franchise.where the heck do they get them?and how come Squirrels survive the end of the world?

Squirrels are quite resilient, have you played Galactic Civilizations 2 /3 ? The Snathi are proof they are evil, hateful furballs able to survive all manner of catastrophic events..

A rideable giant ant would be all my dreams come true.

Not a deathclaw?!

I think rideable ants make a lot more sense. Riding a deathclaw is admittedly very cool but a little harder to believe.

Why?

Bugs have no bone or muscle. Even if it was big, you at would at least strain them greatly. Let not forget they if they were like RL version in QI, they cannot be tamed since they would be very dump. Since we are talking ants, they may need to live in large colonials and can't understand sounds or body cues since they use smell and touch instead.

A deathclaw is stronger, already smart, has horns you can hold on into, can live alone (at least males.) can climb and travel all sorts of landscape very well. I don't see why expect that they are dangerous. But they can be tamed.

...they may need to live in large colonials...

Good thing we're in Boston... *cough* Sorry, I couldn't resist.

Honestly giant bugs makes no sense whatsoever from a realistic or scientific perspective. There's no way to really comment on what they would be like, or to reasonably extrapolate from ants.

But you've got to admit, they look a lot friendlier than deathclaws.
