Ultimatepurge
Hi, I need to justify blue ambient lighting in a interior cell I'm making.is there any meshes that lets me simulate the sky? If I make the cell behave like exterior -> everything too bright! Edited June 4, 2011 by Ultimatepurge
MichikoUnknownFox
Try to see how All Natural did it. The Natural Interiors part of the mod allows you to see the weather from inside an interior cell. So if it's sunny, you see the blue sky and some sunlight, etc. It may give you some ideas for that. You can even make yours require that mod. No reason for people not to use that mod anyway IMO.

MichikoUnknownFox
All Natural doesn't really modify graphics or anything. I had it on my oldschool machine (ATI Radeon x1550, Pentium IV 3.0 GHz) and it didn't drop my FPS at all. I had 20+ FPS indoors, 800x600 graphics with large texture size. It was the same with or without All Natural. :D It doesn't render stuff outside like grass or smoke effects or anything, so it doesn't really take that much of a toll on the GPU or your VRAM. Ultimatepurge
Well I don't want people to download a whole bunch of stuff just for my mod.Compatibility > all. I decided I'm gonna throw in a bunch of ambient lights anyway. The dungeon isn't that big anyway.
MichikoUnknownFox
Well you can still pick up some ideas from how they did it. They even got lightning to show up inside the buildings. It won't strike inside, but you know, the light effect. It's pretty neat.
ub3rman123
If you need a small fake section of sky, the mesh SkyBox01 in Dungeons>Misc should work well.
