MichikoUnknownFox
This is more of a rambling thread for me, but yeah. I just saw that E3 teaser on GameTrailers.com and at first I was hesitant to get Skyrim. And thought I would wait like a year or at least a few months before buying. You know, to give me time to save up for it, wait for some mods to come out and whatnot... but I realized that would cause insanity so I figured I should try to get it as soon as it's out. But I live in the Kingdom of Sadthirdworldcountrylandia. Everything is both expensive and we're at the mercies of those foreign trade vessels that come in with the east wind, once in many moons or something. I hope our village merchants here stock up on this game significantly lol. D: I know a lot of people that play TES (and pretty much every PC RPG) here, and we suffer from having games go out of stock on opening day. Our game stores are inside shopping malls. You can't exactly camp them out, so it's really just a matter of first-come-first-served. It was like that with any big title game on first day, and they don't restock immediately because "imported" stuff is revered like Asian spices were for the Europeans. I'd get the Steam version, if there would even be a Steam version, to avoid that, but it's not really the same if you don't have a box and all that flashy happiness you get when you're holding a physical copy of the game. I'm sure it'll have an epic box and a nice manual and whatnot. D: AAAAAAAAA! Thank you. Sorry lol, I'm just now really getting excited for Skyrim, on account of my previous hesitation to even bother getting it. Teaser videos have that effect on me. Corakus
Camp outside the mall instead then, and can't you order it online or something?I never buy games in real-life because I have Sociophobia, so I just order mine from Amazon.I think Amazon ships outside the U.S. doesn't it? MichikoUnknownFox
lol Well maybe. Camping outside the mall would pretty much get you questioned by security. It's just generally not done here. Ordering online may be an option, if it does go out of stock on the first day lol. I just ope the S&H charges aren't stupid. We'll see as the date draws near.
ub3rman123
I dunno, I was planning on buying over Steam, then getting a scan of the box and making my own box. Worked okay for Portal 2.
MichikoUnknownFox
lol D: So ghetto. I like it. If all else fails I guess that's what I'll do.
JimboUK
The game will probably require Steam anyway so it shouldn't make too much difference.
