TheMysteriousTraveler
I might try romance when skyrim comes out. Although, i plan to become sort of a warrior who travels skyrim in search of adventure (AKA i want to explore the s__t out of skyrim). So basicaly i dont think i would be able to stay home all the time with my loving spouse :D. Maybe i will do romance once im bored with exploring the land and finished main quest... (Got very bored with exploring cyrodiil after like, 6 hrs of gameplay. but with morrowind? after 46 hrs of gameplay :D. What?! Morrowind is so fascinating!) EasyBeast
Swords do piercing damage, axes do bleeding damage and maces ignores defense I think. The point is that these are their own skills. So if spears would be in it would certainly be its own skill, and that means more perks. Besides, what kind of damage would spears do? Correct me if I'm wrong. You could just make a pole arm mod, and have there be maces axes and swords with reach. It would be a third weapon skill to ad to one handed and two handed skill set:D
SharpReaper
I just thought of something. With the marriage thing will there be a honeymoon?
billyro
Haha. I doubt it; too much effort. I just hope that with the relationships, you can't get a best friend or a spouse by going 'bribe bribe bribe bribe bribe'.
Aliensexual
As long as I can find a beautiful Argonian lady to be my wife, I will die a happy man.
Utyran
Seriosly Guys, do you realy care about this partnership stuff in a videogame? That you, what means the character that you playing, can have sexual intercourse in some games(like the Witcher) is a funny side effect, but necessary. Personaly i wouldn't care about. I play such games because of the things i can't do in real life, like fighting Monsters. Who should want a virtuall sexdoll just to have someone that say she would love him? And is the capricious income of a Adventurer, who sneeks through dangerouse caves and dungeons risks his live all day, realy a good fundament to build a partnership and a family on? Who whould care?I mean, could you remember a game where you can take a piss? Or these other basical human needs? Who would care about that? You know when you watch a movie or read a book and you really get to know the characters, you get familiar with them and you kinda like them? That's exactly with video games, just that you can interact with them in a way you feel appropriate, and that creates a, so to say, non existing relationship. Some people think that's strange for others to feel that way, It's not, not at all. When you were young you might had a imaginary friend, that's similar. It's complicated really, and most of it is happening in unconscious mind
Alcrin
That you, what means the character that you playing, can have sexual intercourse in some games I play such games because of the things i can't do in real life Do I even need to say anything? The joke just makes itself. As for my thoughts on the whole romance thing... it's probably gonna be pretty terribly executed. I liked the romance sidequests in Dragon Age because there are only 4 characters you can have a romance with: This means it's reasonable to flesh them out into someone you could grow to like and care about. Was there a single person in the entirety of Oblivion or Morrowind who was fleshed out character-wise to the same extent as Alistair or Leliana? Even in mods there's only very rarely any attempt at building solid characters at all, let alone someone I could care about. When it comes to characters the Elder Scrolls focuses on quantity, not quality. Keep in mind I'm not complaining about this: For what TES is, this works. But it's totally unfeasible to make thousands of characters who would make an interesting romance sidequest. The romance aspect of the game would have to be bigger than the rest of Skyrim put together in order to be done well. The only real possibility I can see working would be to make only a handful of romance-able NPCs in the game. Like, maybe 10 characters you could date, maximum. But that just... don't feel very TES-y to me.
Utyran
Do I even need to say anything? The joke just makes itself. You make the joke up while you taking parts of my sentences and put them into the wrong context. By the way i forgett the little word "not". . ' date=',but not necessary,,. Now it make sense. Look, dating virtual Woman is not the Point in such a game and if you want to create a plausible "romance", it should be a little more komplex. And the focus shouldn't be on these stuff because it just would cost time and resources.Hey, could you remember in the last STAR WARS films, where this Anakin had this bulls*** "romance" with the princes? Anakin was Pro-Facism and begging for Sex, George Lucas has NO F IDEA how talk to a Woman. Such things could happen if nerds try to create a romance story!! Do you wanna see this again? Imagine how would that end. Like a quest where you can earn something. Do you know why the Witcher collects these Sexcards? Because thats what they are. Maybee you get some nailing her Perk when you complette the [i']hole thing[/i]. http://www.ugly-smilies.de/data/ugly.gif When you were young you might had a imaginary friend' date=' that's similar. [/quote']Yeah, i look after every girl on the street like a young wulf which scented some fresh blood. But i couldn't remember myself in Succubus like Mangagirls... for gods sake some of them have hooves and tails!! I see some parctical use in tails and horns(I can grab her on these things and controll where the head should going), but hooves? Is there some Hoove-fetish i don't know about?Sometimes those things getting out of controll.
Iv000
I tried to explain it to you.Romance isn't about sex, and I haven't said anything about fetishes and for God's sake by imaginary friend I don't mean a imaginary porn star. And by reading your posts I think you only want to have a porn simulator inside games. Also, don't pretend to be a ladies hero, you won't get far.
