DenMan06
I hope for Dragons to still be around but rare after the main quest, and i hope for a lot more Elder Scrolls lore artifacts ext and more Morrowind stuff
billyro
I hope that what Beth stated is true. "Skyrim is the same size as Oblivion, 16 sqr miles, but because of the hazardous paths and mountains, it will feel bigger"
SoggyWaffle
Better main quest line, Oblivion's was pretty awful.
InuyashaFE
Better main quest line, Oblivion's was pretty awful. I agree, it was worst when we had to go to every single city, ask for their help, and close a gate. And the fetch quests were the worst.
Corakus
I hope there are more robe models in Skyrim than in Oblivion. In Oblivion there were only three different robe models:Mages' Robes, Monk Robes, and the White Mages' Robes.Everything else was just a retex of the Mages' Robes. satamino
I am hoping for more elemental and eccentric magic skills.Three elements are so boring  earth(earthquake),air(tornado! ),holy, dark should also included in destruction skill  and different voices for different spells/skills too. ThisAlso a more interesting mages guild for example: I hated it that after becoming archmage in oblivion it was over (thank god there are mods). Ghogiel
I'm not opposed to new elements. As long as it's not holy and dark :yucky:
mohonay
I don't want sound sick or anything but I hope you can kill the children NPCs. It may not be the best thing to promote but I found it rather annoying and unrealistic when you couldnt in fallout 3 and other games like that. RunnerJed
I hope to see many things... 1) more mounts and mount functionality. I'd love to be able to fight off horseback, delivering devastating blows with the increased power of the mount, etc. 2) More armour designs. Oblivion had way too few. Once you finally reached daedric armour, there was no reason to use anything else. There needs to be many different designs of armour that is comparable in quality. This gives you much more creative freedom without sacrificing protection. 3) More interesting NPCs and deeper NPC interaction. Like others have said previously. 4) Way more followers. I think the max was like 4 in Oblivion. It would be awesome to be able to form a group of 50 or more! This would be dictated by your fame. I think once you've reached a certain point of fame, you should be able to have a small army to fight for you and to guard your residence, etc. Just like a medieval lord. 5) Arena tournaments. The arena quest in Oblivion was kinda lame. It would be nice to increase the number of competitors in the Skyrim arena quest. The quest also should involve touring to all the cities in which they have a championship event at the end. Once you've finished the quest, tournaments should be held every once in a while in which you get to compete for a great deal more money and fame! Sounds much more interesting doesn't it!? mohonay
I also would like better argonians. They were ok as average citizens in oblivion, but i want my dovahkiin to have a more rugged, threatening appearance, not look like a rainbow fish-man. I think they should look like humans with komodo dragon or iguana heads and tails along with the choice for more neutral colored scales. Maybe even have forked tongues with a flickering animation that happens every once in a while.
