I myself throwed 3 snowballs untill I was tired of it and burried Peregrine under artillery-fire. Face it m8. When someone leaves the snowareana the chances are 1/50 that someone will come to replace him... If it hadnt be for the scenario I believe the snowarena wouldnt have lasted for 12 pages. I had fun here cause I kept playing in desperate need of a good RPG-like story. Thanks to Peregrine and others among you I found such a story... I really believe the time of snow is gone... It's a good place for someone like me, who has never done a written RPG, to practice following the story line and see what is involved in actively participating in an RPG. I quite liked the original premise of the Arena, and while not very many people visited my casino Acrid blew it up anyway so there was nothing to worry about. And everyone is quite right to point out that it very quickly went to starships and intergalactic snow-based warfare, which is why the Arena is so much fun. It allows for complete creative freedom as well as no concerns about your character(s) being eliminated from gameplay.Without the more rigid structure of the real RPG forums, the Arena allows us to relax and really get crazy. People can try power-play tactics, but noone is bound by what anyone else writes. So, in order to keep the Arena alive, maybe we should agree on a loosely structured scenario and run with it. Say, for instance, a new Ice Age is starting, leaving the world in chaos and every one is out for themselves, or some Medieval-times based scenario. Or we can go back to space. Of course, my plan to switch to this scenario requires a little status uppage, from certain people....at any rate, when it started, the battle afterparty would still be going on at malchiks, then we head over to ancalagon's [if shin promotes me], the by the time we get back, everything has been recreated in snow, but its medievil, lke i mentioned. The standard use in the rpg is medieval so I think it wont be something new..Off-course if people really want to play I could just use Malcik spell of reverse time...
