fasty1
I'm asking this because oblivion was so poorly optimized for pc when it came out. I went through FOUR computer upgrades and STILL couldn't max it out at 60 fps constant. I mean why cant i just play the damn game fluidly, im running a 6 cores amd with a 6870 1gb for gods sake. So obviously skyrim will have better graphics and im fearing the game will bring my comp to its knees and i might have to upgrade it 4 more times in hopes of maxing it out... AigisFan
Ive owned Oblivion since it came out on PC, but got so utterly frustrated with random CTDs,bugs and choppiness that my answer was to buy it for both my PS3 and XBOX360. dont make the same mistake again bethseda, ripping out the ability to use mods just to be able to play was like ripping its heart out

CommanderCrazy
Probably not optimized at all. Console port FOR THE LOSE.
Halororor
Well, there's a lot hingeing on this game for Bethesda, so I'm going to assume it will be well optimized.
EviloMEN
I remember an interview Tod did a few months ago stating they hadn't started on the PC optimizations, but we'll have better textures. Remember most of their sales are going to be on consoles. Pc gamers are a very small slice of the pie. We do however get a construction set. worm82075
If you compare FO3 to OB and then assume that Beth has gone even further than that then Skyrim will be very optimized. I have a x6 CPU and a hd 6850 and with all tweaks possible I'm running OB at 45-70 fps while at the same time running FO3 at 70-100 fps.
Povuholo
Probably not optimized at all. Console port FOR THE LOSE.On the other hand, they're making the game look better than Oblivion (mostly shadows and distant LOD) and it still needs to run on the same consoles, so they're definitely doing something right there. Yes, and take note that the Gamebryo engine was rubbish to begin with, so the fact that they redid the engine should help as well.
