  1. Looks nice from the pictures; you might want to consider putting them in the same thread, just saying. Is the mod planned to be a contiguous part of the Skyrim world, or a separate world space, or a total conversion mod? I'm loving the look either way. Good work so far.
  2. I was surprised when they didn't release it in January. I was surprised again when they didn't release it with 1.4. I'll be surprised if they release it on Tuesday. :psyduck:
  3. Amazing work man; I'm loving the model. Skyrim is in desperate need of a little dragon diversity.
  4. I agree screw purists; guns and gnomes in the next elder scrolls game.
  5. Speaking of modding, does anyone know when the creation kit comes out?
  6. I'm an old-school traditionalist, so I'll be going with the mouse keyboard combo.
  7. Nice pole-arms, and Morrowind style legs. I approve wholeheartedly.
  8. Scrolls is common usage, and not copy-writable. Bethesda doesn't have a shot, unless they're being directly copying on more points than just a bit of name.
  9. He only did it for kudos? All the more reason to kudos him!! After all, if you don't..., he might not do it again :P
  10. That's just the way Techno Viking rolls.
  11. I'm pretty sure the answer is no, as there is no locational damage.
  12. If they have robes in smithing they might as well call it crafting, and then branch skill tree out to cloth, leather, and armor.
  13. Yeah, it kind of looked like he didn't read the question fully. It's not something i personally care about anyhow.
  14. Magnetize is basically an auto-lock, that it draws your attack towards your opponent. I was thinking along the lines of a requirement to hold down an extra button to kill a non-hostile, like an innkeeper, or guard. If the button isn't held down you can't accidentally go hostile. Obviously if the game had a function like this, you'd want to be able to switch it off.
  15. Two scenes. "Stop right there Criminal Scum!" *Walks Away* "You dare run away from the might of the argh" *He gets killed from walking over a Frost rune you placed without him noticing* Second Scene "Stop right there Crim. . ." *You kill him by slicing him with your sword." Yeah, I wonder if a guard is walking around by himself in the woods and you have a bounty in that specific region. And if he stops you and you basically kill him, will they count it as if his shout reached the closest city and makes your bounty even higher, or is your kill unnoticed by the population like it should? Would suck if you use a Dragon Shout but instead of hitting the Dragon it kills the guard. Even though it was an accident it is murder like real life. Reminds me of the guy that tried to free that prisoner but he killed the enemies and it turned out the guy he was trying to save died as well. I said that sucks. Ye thats the one problem im concerned about.. becouse there will be situations where some npc just runs right into your blade/fireball or w/e and you kil him by mistake...or the aoe attacks as you mentioned...that would probably need some more programming on the AI so they recognize when you are about to fire of some shout or aoe speel and get the hell out of the way. I know magnetism is already there as it is in the OP. But that won't stop Magick if I remember right. Only Melee. That's called natural selection only the strong and smart survive so I'm screwed cause I am neither smart nor strong so I guess I'm rolling a goblin runner dohvakin Technically it is the most adaptable that survive. "better adapted for immediate, local environment". Unfortunately pre-programmed NPCs can't really adapt to walking directly in front of you as you cast a fireball. They might have some sort of no friendly fire, unless targeted type thing. That's pretty easy to do. P.S. "riding the re-quot train"
  16. Daedric is heavy armor we got to see a screen of the Heavy Armor skill description awhile back.
  17. It doesn't mean anything in regards to werewolves. They've had vamps in the last two games.
  18. :( It's depressing hearing what's not in it. Is there any new news as to what's in?
  19. On the bright side, I bet playing the blind character isn't graphically intensive. :D
  20. I really don't understand how merging chest/leg armors makes it Fallout with swords. I stated that it wasn't, not that it was. This was a response to this to Camonna Tong's statement. I hope this helps clear things up for you. I know that it's not a single piece of armor, It's less though. Fallout had more then one piece too, if you count the helmet. It's the fact that 3 pieces are fused into one. Each games gives you progressively less armor options. It's only natural to feel a little cheated.
  21. You mean that Chest+Legs is merged into one armor now? Yeah and many think that the Cuirass and Greaves merged somehow means that the whole set is now a Single armor piece. I think I actually prefer it that way. It's how most games does it, and it makes it possible for them to make each armor to look as they want it to without worrying as much about the clipping. This isn't fallout with swords, and I liked having multiple pieces of armor, like in Morrowind. I personally thought it added quite a bit to the variety. I guess I'll have to see just how much more armor they added.
  22. Nice that's more compact, cheaper, and you still get the art book.
  23. It wasn't encrypted in Oblivion, and they allowed it in New Vegas. Isn't exactly a sure thing. I can wait till I know for sure. Any how if I wait a few additional months the collector's edition will likely go on sale. :D I've got friends who will buy it when it comes out regardless, so I'll still be able to play. -I'm going to buy it just not immediately.
  24. If they allow a script extender like in New Vegas it isn't huge. We'll see is there any word from silverlock.org that they will?
