Ron Pearlman would actually make a pretty good sten. i never even concidered him.

i'm still trying to think of a good 'bad guy' to play loghain. Although i do love Simon Templeman

Linda Hunt would probably be a great choice for he voice of Shale.

Sten always reminded me of Deputy Hawk (played by Michael Horse) from Twin Peaks:

Now.... where do we cast Johnny Depp?

Ya know, he pulled off the pirate thing quite well.. how do you think he'd do as an elf assassin?

Also... how about Ron Pearlman as Sten?

I think Ron Pearlman would be great Sten. He has been a Russian sniper (Enemy at the Gates) and a hunchback moron (The Name of the Rose) and a biker chieftan (Sons of Anarchy). He is a great actor..... just plug him in ..... then cast Katy Segal as Flemeth! She should have gotten an Emmy for "Sons".

Johnny Depp as Zevran would work well I think (I always kill him though).

Think about Ben Kingsley as Avernus.

Now the hard part. Michael Emerson and Terry O'Quinn? ...... and Sean Connery and let's not forget Michael Caine somewheres.

Her (I hope) is Sophia Loren.

Cheers

@LarianHawke

Oh yes.... some addictions are very difficult to kick. The only times I find myself not missing "Lost" is when I have bouts of anxiety over the "Game of Thrones" hiatus. Spring seems so far away.

I think you can see why Sophia caused such a sensation in 1957.... such things were simply not done in America in those years. :woot:

How about Ian McShane as Loghain? He's more handsome than Loghain, but I think he could pull if off.

And Johnny Depp as Zevran is a great suggestion. His ability to blend into a roll is amazing.

*casts Reanimate on this thread 'cause it's a good read*

Though I have a minor (*coughs*) obsession with Chris Hemsworth, I can't picture him as Alistair. He's too... masculine. Yeah. Alistair has this whiny, effeminate touch that is very endearing (perhaps it is the voice? Hemsworth has a booming, deep voice, while Steve Valentine has a very sarcastic, everyday-guy voice). Oh, Nathan Fillion! Yes, Fillion could pull off Alistair (based on the little I've seen of him).

I'd very much like to see Monica Bellucci in some corner - when Templar Carroll calls Morrigan "the dark-eyed temptress", this Italian beauty always comes to mind (or Nigella Lawson and her... "plumptious beauties"). For Flemeth, I'd cast a heavily make-up'd Helena Bonham Carter. She nails the crazy-old-biddy thing excellently.

Duncan, Duncan, Duncan... being the mentor type that gets killed and whose death must be revenged throughout the game, I'd prefer someone who makes an impression but isn't too big a name.

As for Loghain, we need someone on the slightly crazy side who can portray prejudice (the Elves in the Alienage)... Mel Gibson, maybe?
