personally i like wolves and dogs. in fallout 3 dogmeat was good company. :)

Normally, I could say Charizard for the luls, and if I could tame a dragon in the game, it could count. XD But I selected wolf. I just like wolves. :)

I would like to have a bird companion. I played Fable 2 and loved my dog, but he was a hassle. It would be pretty cool to have a bird with you that changed along with your character. Also because the bird could fly or simply sit on your shoulder, you wouldn't have to worry about losing him, or him lagging behind.

The whole lagging behind thing should be a thing of the past, at least that's my opinion.

I hated the fact that whenever you had to either follow an npc or let an npc follow you, you would always run into trouble at some point. A great example of this is one of the fighters guild missions where you have to follow the guy from leyawiin to an old ruin, not only was it slow going getting there, but on top of that he had to go through the whole dungeon to get a quest update. Then he'd tell you there was another ruin somewhere close by you would have to visit and at this point im pulling hair thinking wtf i gotta follow this guy again that walks 3 steps every minute.

Adding atmosphere like a battle or some kind of action sequence or even the ability to just run past him, would greatly improve those follow the idiot npc quests.

Also i don't like the idea of how every time an npc sees so much as a mud crab he runs after it just to kill it, how many people honestly escorted martin to cloud ruler temple without fast travel?

Only companions mods i did like were the ones that gave you an easy resummon spell, which still was annoying. There's much much older games that have over come this simple fault, i don't care if you have to make the npc teleport to you after a certain distance is obtained, just fix it.
