AurianaValoria1
I know I enjoy playing Morrowind and Oblivion without music sometimes, especially since it eliminates the "battle alert." :P Will you mute the music for your first playthrough, or keep it? rockygohard18
Ehh Doesn't really matter to me personally If I get sick of that tune I just go to options and cut the music,,but its nice and some times espically with a few mods.

VBlackfang
Several first playthroughs without music, then I'll likely turn it on for variety.

hejpadig
I'll keep every sound effect on. I want to enjoy the experience the way Bethesda recommends it. The music in the demo was beautiful, it was beyond anything I had hoped for.
Adrius2
by definition music breaks immersionHmm... by definition? You mean like, cuz real life doesn't have theme music it breaks immersion? I disagree, bad music can surely break immersion as it makes you think about just how bad it is, which brings you out of the game. However, a good soundtrack that matches and reinforces what happens on the screen can severely enhance immersion. I mean it's personal of course, some people feel more immersed without music, but breaks immersion by definition...? No no. EDIT: As for the topic... **** yeah I'll have the music on. It's Jeremy Soule man, heresy to mute that stuff :D Edited October 23, 2011 by Adrius2
Iv000
I will keep the music on for my first playthrough. It's blasphemy not to listen to it at least once.If it becomes repetitive I will turn it off on my next few playthroughs though.

jhardingame
Def. keep the music on. As a musician, the better the music, the better the immersion.
