Pathetic is the best way to describe F4 DLC

Nuka world, last story dlc? Indeed a let down. But the biggest let down was the lack of depth in the fallout 4 original world. We were naive to think a few dlcs could fix that.

What we can do now, is enjoy the great tools and community bethesda has arranged for us to create new experiences. Fallout 4 has at least 3 more years before it is overtaken by another game. Unfortunately now, while Fallout 4 is not what we wished for, it's the best we have.

Christ, way to make it sound like we need to turn Fallout 4 into survival rations. It's really not that bad.

Remember when we were all thinking about DLC's that had story that took us to Canada, to the moon, underwater, and other exciting places?

Remember when we thought most of the DLC would add new quest and such to the game, and not more settlement items we could (and have) added ourselves..?

Those were the times...

but hey, if they really think to made more dlc, instead of stop all the production, maybe there is a chance to get one of them.

Aliens, enclave, moon, underwater, canada, or the mistery of sarah lyon's death

I'm actually 100% cool we didn't get any of those, especially the moon, underwater or anything to do with the god damn enclave

Its always possible they will release some small free content. They did it for Morrowind if memory serves. It was just a itty bitty castle filled with undead.

I could see them, getting together and realizing how badly the settlement dlc pissed people off and actually build something using all those assets. Death traps, creature cages etc etc. It'd not take them that long. Throw in a voice actor or two and a small quest.. It'd probably buy back a good deal of goodwill.

Haven't they already given people the resources to do that themselves with the current Wasteland Workshop? Either way, even if they did releases what you suggested I can already see the public reaction. They would complain that modders could have made those traps and the basic quest mod that goes with it would have been free (naturally). Dragging Bethesda Games Studios has just become so natural to people now, nothing they do can satisfy anyone anymore.

Yes, they gave people resources to make those items. However, it'd give them a chance to actually showcase those assets.

Besides, not everyone really wants to build settlements. So them pre-building a small town that makes use of everything.. would go over well with lots of people. Anyhow they don't have to satisfy everyone, just get some of the folks that hate building stuff to see the value of those dlc.
