Nuka World lets you join the raiders

Role-playing design SO BAD, no one even imagined it was possible.

Beth games it not just role playing, it also about doing wtf you want (it like the core thing of them.) so it only normal to see it in a beth game.

Beth, of course, is still fuming over how a third-party dev did so much BETTER than any Beth attempt at factions (before or since) in New Vegas.

FNV factions are not really that good though, they are quite black and white.

We should however note that better story and writing of the other beth games. Like dishonored.

I'm kinda hoping that we can take over the Institute as the raiders without destroying it.

Are you sure you want to be a raider?

Of course. Put those synths under the boot of the raiders and force them to build, put a barrel behind the scientist's head and force them to make better weaponry. Force is a very good persuasion tool to get a bunch of synths and scientists to do your bidding.

That's kinda what Genghis Khan did when he conquered someplace, he would bring almost all the artists, scholars, architects and wisemen under he control...beforeslaughteringeveryoneelse. but the point remains I want to be the Genghis Khan of the Commonwealth.

It would be strange to allow a fifth faction to be used for the main game at basically the 11th hour of this game's DLC lineup. I mean, I haven't checked, but is there a way to ruin a game by being hostile to the Minutemen, Institute, Railroad and Brotherhood? Would the option of a Raider Faction fix such a messed up game if possible?

And we all know that they would just bow up the nuclear reactor and teleport us to watch from the same building....

Whether from Nuka-Cola World or from the two incoming workshop dlc, I really want two things. The first is the ability to craft legendaries or at least swap out legendary attachments (modders did this already so maybe who cares). I would also like the ability to quickly hire unique settlers when I start up a new settlement (again, maybe modders did this already or will). I wouldn't mind being able to hire 5 or so high level mercenaries for patrols along with a legendary merchant that does not need to be chased across the feking Wasteland (that would be nice). I hate the standard boring settler, what with the same dialogue and no combat skills to speak of.

It would be strange but hey, I wouldn't complain if they did. One of the first things people criticized about with Fallout 4 was that there was no raider faction and given Bethesda has been listening to fan feedback with their dlc I wouldn't be surprised if Nuka World would fix that. I mean, I'd obviously give it a try since it's something new.

As for being hostile to all four right now it's not possible as far as I know but I wouldn't mind seeing it added in.

And NO, OP, no-one complains about the micro-fact that Beth is adding a bit more story content- any new stuff is better than nothing. What people hate is the meta fact that Beth has so mishandled the content of FO4, and has been so proud to do so.

"Micro fact"

"Meta fact"

Facts are facts. Something is either a fact or it's not and that's an actual fact. These "micro" and "meta" facts are actually just opinions that you renamed so you could tout it as the One Truth.

That dude did know how to wage wars to win.

When the auto trailer showed up. I thought of a raider robot export.

You would have a melee robot with a deathclaw skull, you would use your mixed raider-0X Pa with your falmer to spread flames or jet gun (or a modded minigun) Your only CHR perk is the flirt perk.

I freaking loved the build.

but i lost my saves, but i think i would save it from nuka world and hold up a play so Fo4 would be fresh as hell since i tested many builds.

Do you think joining the raider faction in nuka world will make raiders in the commonwealth friendly/non-hostile?

Considering raiders aren't a unified faction or even technically a real faction and they attack each other in the lore, I doubt it. Edited by noahdvs

God damn it.

This is / was most of what my mod was supposed to be -- I wanted to allow you to work with & build up the raiders of the wasteland to conquer / control settlements, and if possible have it be an option INSTEAD of the minutemen...

Figures they would do something like this, lol.

Hmm. Guess I need to decide whether I want to shift my focus a bit, or just trudge forward regardless...

Wait for the DLC and see what it does. Maybe it'll still be useful.
